Charlie left the band without telling Matt or James...they only found out the day after from thier manager telling them that Charlie wanted to leave for Fightstar. The boys were saddened as Charlie didn't tell them in person..but wished him well..

Well I think Busted were more successful than Mcfly while they lasted, but it was sad that Charlie really looked miserable towards the end, while Mcfly are a tight group and you can see they always have fun together on tours and live shows :]

Mcfly exist due to the fact that James Bourne was a very good friend of Tom Fletcher and he get a record contract to Tom and his future band.

Busted were so much succesful than McFLY, in 2 years and 6 months they sold 2 millions of album all their singles (9) charted in Top 3 Uk list and 4 of them were number 1, they travelled to Japan, Spain, France, Holland, Germany, USA and they recieved 2 BRIT AWARDS. Mcfly haven't achieved so many things.

I'm also a McFLY lover but these are the facts.

well maybe mcfly are more talented... but busted were also very talented... james have written like 100 songs since 2002... charlie plays 4 different instrumentes since he was 16 and composes most of the fightstar music... and matt recorded his first album in a garage when he was 15 ...and matt was plugged in when james and charlie were too.. he can play the bass quiet well.

@OfficialYoung95 Busted were forced to use playback in some performances (mainly Top of the Pops) as they couldn't do there signature 'busted jump' if they were playing for real, and their record label wanted their music to be top standard when they're live. As they gradually progressed and earned more fans, they played live more often. Got nothing against McFly, they're a talented group. Although, McFly do owe Busted for allowing them to tour with Busted (gaining Busted fans) etc :P

@bsandjt well even tho they broke up james went 2 america and set up a band there. and charlie wanted to do more rocky stuff so. and they do play their own instruments. and the reason they need a drummer is because charlie finds it hard to sing live while playing drums since he is the main singer. he plays drums in other videos..
