Even though I don't understand a word of French, the music alone is so powerful and mesmerizing. I'm getting this album in the mail next week and it will be a great day when it arrives. Brilliant songwriting. This is why I love Metal, you don't need to understand the lyrics to completely fall in love with the music. Pure magic.

@dream431ca Fuck yeah! Unlike those faggots up in the RnB, our music is authentic. It's played with guitars, drums and basses. The rnb doesn't have that. All they sing about is cash, getting laid, being popular, teenage troubles, when metal is a whole different level of sophistication. Sure, there is metal that's completely senseless, but at least it doesn't sound like "robots fucking".

@gundorlt This vid was suggested by youtube so I was skipping through it and got to about 4:30. I wanted to skip through the rest and look up something else, but I couldn't. Just sounded too good to skip. Now I'm replaying it, listening to the whole thing :D.

@leprouskoala It is too good to skip :) All of it actually. Probably my favorite song from Alcest. To me they are like Agalloch - everything that they do (and I do mean everything) is perfect. This is true art.

Holy balls. The guitar and drumming at the end of the song ... are insane. Tremolo picking mixed with really fast drumming is wonderful. It's not obnoxious and mixes well, creating an atmospheric sound while still making me think "Hooooly craaap, heck yeeeaaah."
