@MRMED123 Right you are! I studied the DAYLIGHTS out of the song after listening many times since I was a 7th-grade kid. Of course, I can't play the sax, but it was fun adapting the solo to the guitar. I have always loved the 12-string and bass lines--for so long, they have heavily influenced my own music. The hard part is singing the ten-second A-above-middle-C at the end. Thanks for listening!
Yeah, this is SO nice! Definitely a time machine sort of song, but you really hit it out of the ballpark. Who's the dude sitting in the pew? Seems like a purposeful camera pan.
@spikesmedia Thanks so much. Nah, not purposeful. I think the main camera got bumped, and the perfectionistic editor decided to substitute with "B roll" (jargon for adoring audience shots). The hilarious part is, I am actually in the audience during the audience shot! How narcissistic can I get?!? Ha ha ha ha. ROFL.
I remember us playing that song together on your couch in the apartment in So. Pasadena.... what a great job you've done with this cover!! Proud of you, my friend!
@archman1966 Right, you are, Arch-Man! It's an old favorite that goes way back--even to the days of the Takamine 12-string that Mom bought for $75 after I snapped the neck of my whatever-it-was-before-that (mad at a girl, I tossed it into a pile of blankets at the end of the bed not knowing a briefcase was sitting there--oops). Thank you so much.
WILL, THANKS FOR YOUR DESIRE TO EXCEL AND DO THE BEST YOU CAN DO.
AFTER LISTENING TO, PROBABLY, OVER 500 PEOPLE DO THEIR
