Chen yu is really great. His problem is that, as has been said, he doesn't have as much of a will to put himself out there... I think he also loses a lot of his points on smashing it out. He isn't weak, he's strong, he just needs to control the shuttlecock better.

Chen Yu is 27. and he's not crap. he's beaten Lee Choong Wei, Peter Gade and Chen Jin. he just doesn't have the court dominance of Lin Dan. Chen Yu was national champion in china for two years in a row. he's got talent, just not the dominance Lin Dan has on court. and don't say he's ugly. it's not like he wanted to be.
