I see that a lot of people hating on HIM for being more popular than Entwine. Please, don't judge music by popularity. Both bands are great and similar, especially the Closer (mylove) song by Entwine and When love and death embrace by HIM, they could be continuations. Any way, there still better bands out there, For My Pain is one.

If a band goes mainstream over time they tend to change due to selling out to certian producers or their label, but a recording company including, the producer do not like a song sounds because they think it will not sell they will change it to what they think will sell, because they are only about making money. which is not the point or purpose of true music,

@fierygod14455 well, not every band. there are many examples but lets take Linkin Park, which is VERY mainstream, but still, they decide almost everything by themselves. Mike Shinoda is the producer of their music, Joe hahn the DJ is the music video director, etc. Nobody is telling them what to do and what not to do. Of course there are exeptions like maybe britney spears or justin bieber who does everything just to be famous. i don't even think they write their own lyrics..

Completely... I'm American and I've only really discovered Scandinavian bands in the last year or so. In the US, the airwaves are pretty much dominated by R&B and hip hop. I'm completely in love with Finnish music in particular and Finland in general. HIM is obviously the better when it comes to record sells, and in personal oppinion they are far better than Entwine. However, Entwine has I still Entwine. In no way are they terrible. Finnish bands rock!

HIM is there own genre, one they made themselves and Entwine are more hard rock. They both deserve more fame. I hear Entwine songs on the radio here in New York all the time. I never hear HIM songs on the radio. So, Entwine has a bit more fame in some things. They both deserve way more fame. And, some of their songs sound similar anyway.

"DIEversity" and "Fatal Design", the 2 newer Entwine albums are definetely better than "Dark Light" and "Venus Doom", the 2 newer H.I.M. albums i'll admit that,

but from "Greatest Love Songs Vol. 666" to "And Love Said No Greatest Hits" H.I.M. is way better than Entwine

they're both 2 of my favorite bands but H.I.M. is my favorite band in the whole world, so in my opinion H.I.M. is better.

But in the 2 newer albums for each, Entwine is much better.
