and not being able to jump on enemies adds up for challenge, previous versions of the crossover are WAY too easy with that ability, well that and because you can't just jump on enemies on game like metroid or castlevania as an example, only mario and luigi can jump on enemies.

And I felt being able to jump over the enemies made the game easier and also made it feel more like a mario bros crossover. I also forgot to mention I don't like the new power up system, you pick like 7 things and lose them in one hit, that's really unfair. And by the way, you don't have to be so agressive, is just preference.

I'm just a little surprised that there aren't any of the actual SNES sprites except for mario & samus. Simon & Megaman for example, are way different on SNES.

But that doesn't matter too much - what matters is that this is some sick fan service, and it makes me wonder why we can't see an offiicial game like this put out, or even a Sonic Adventure-styled Nintendo game.

I love smash bros, but I'd rather see a cross-over game like that that isn't a fighter.

Here's a quick review: Excellent job with the update! The new skins & costumes look great. Not sure about some GameBoy textures though however Luigi and Bass seem like a nice addition.

With all this new stuff your still missing out on some characters that would work really well in this game: Kid Icarus(Pit),Master Higgins & Ice Climber.

Sonic would be a great 3rd party exclusive! Sonic HAS appeared on some unliecensed NES games before! "Somari" is one of the greatest examples!

bill is finnaly 3x better. link became more of a adventure character. and were missing someone arthur i knew when i thought of him for this game i wasnt the first arthur is all we need to be extremely happy just one guy arthur thats all were asking for is arthur hes got awsome abilities and hes got a fun jumping style.. the only bad thing is the terrain needs to be modified by putting more platforms so arthur can get up places. but he will be fun against bowser.
