I agree about general remark on Tygers of PT.

I saw them on stage right after John left in early 80s (needless to say that I was pissed off as I went to se him). Without him it was just a band without spirit...

Listen to Spellbound album (first appearance of John before Crazy nights) you could tell he had a great talent.

circa 1981 & came with a free 12" single with "stormlands & Slip away" on it.

I do. The only album worth having is the second one with John on it. Their other records are rather pedestrian.
