China fixed the problem there, but didn't limit any of the exports, but now the crisis is over because none of those products will be on the shelves, so there's no Melamine in the system.

Actually, there was a melamine scare here in the Philippines a few months ago,

all types of milk products (powdered milk, or anything associated with milk) that came from china had a big amount of melamine

and it resulted in thousands of children and adults sick so, all milk products that came from china are now being banned and thrown away until we are sure that there are no contaminants in their foods
