  • "these belugas trapped by the ice" will eventually die from suffocation, if not from the polar bears. watch the movie "big miracle" its all about trapped whales... and so, so, so touching

  • 0:39 bear like. ''What the fuck Beluga. YEY''

  • A polar bear would never take on a narwhal.

  • I. WANT. A. PET. POLAR. BEAR.

  • what a dick

  • What would have happened if one wale took a bite from the bear?

  • Natural Earth has been destroyed. Natural Landscapes are all gone. We need to fly a plane over Earth and make sure what we're developing isn't harming eco-life.

  • @SaeedBaba those whales teeth are very small, polar bear is 4.5inch fat 2 inch fur. it could possibly drag the bear and drown it, but after looking at the claw marks on their back they probly wouldnt want to take the chance.

  • Beluga is soooo tasty. I totally understand being a polar bear and waiting all day for one. When I see one off the coast, I get straight in my umiak and bring that bad boy home! Muktuk and flipper ftw!!!!!!!

  • @LaShnike fcuk u bich! the world is for everyone, man and animals! dont kill our fellow earthlings motherfcukers!!!

  • if i wer a beluga ill drown the bear into death

  • @nottherealone1 I am a beluga, and will bring your suggestion forward at our next Beluga committee.

  • @crankylifter you had to remove your own comment twice just to write that?..

  • @crankylifter I am a hungry polar bear, I will meet with your committee to talk, maybe you could bring us some penguins or chinese food and we'll stop trying to eat you and your brothers

  • @crankylifter LOL

  • bear got balls jumping in like that whales could have tagged his ass up

  • any video of a orca eating a polar bear

  • Idiot bear... it's never gonna catch one, so why give everyone a fuck-around?!

  • @tosgem Idiot yourself. The Polar Bears often kills Belugas when they find them trapped like this.

The Polar focus on one Beluga and hits it every time it comes up until its dead.

There are several videos on Youtube capturing Polars killing Belugas.

  • @tosgem And if you look at the list to your right and see the video called: "Ice Bear hunt beluga whale" you will see the rest of this video and this Polar actually did kill one of the Belugas.

  • damn. the first thing i noticed was that, that thing had some major battle wounds lol

  • Just wanted to shout out to similar people - I have created a brand new forum based around our planet :) It's at earth-forums (dot) com. I hope you like it!

  • this is definitely better than writing my essay

  • @xogeneva nature have an equilibre the only creature that not fit in is ... us humain !! the polar bear is an amazing animal and he have to eat every god creature is amazing by the way

  • @Fatallica1985 maybe you dont fit in but most of the rest of do .

  • The Bear Had To Eat Like

  • Fuking bear...

  • @xogeneva i'm pretty sure that if it was warm enough for the ice cap to melt the beluga would die aswell...

  • I've seen the whole clip on TV, he actually gets one T_T

  • A polar bear can actually grab a whole killer whale out of the water with its paws.

  • i love the way that polar bear just jumps in and starts mixing it up with those pansies

  • polar bears are 360 centimetar long weigh 1000kg could easy take down a tiger

  • goddam these youtube orchestra ads

  • should have eaten that bird

  • Is very rare to ever see a Polar Bear finding and actually catching a meal. Must be a difficult life.

  • @mvdiablo

It isn't rare. Where'd you get that idea? In the footage of this that wasn't cut out that bear pulls a 1 TON whale out of the breathing hole and has it all to itself,

Polar bear average a 1 in 10 kills at a breathing hole. That's a better average than any of it's bear contemporaries and much better than wolves or big cats.

  • @thegirl44 I'm sure it did...I'm not saying it didn't I said "it's rare to see a polar bear hunt and actually get a kill" which is TRUE moron. Not only is it hard for them to find food it's hard to find them in general yet alone film, set up camp. dude c'mon you sound like it happens all the time when these animals are dying out because of starvation...so check yourself Mr. ISeePolarBearsEatingDaily HA

  • @mvdiablo

If a film crew spent one week with one of these animals in regular conditions they would film a kill and as it makes no sense to take a 2 day trip to the arctic circle it's fair to say that a film crew wouldn't bother going home without kill footage. A seal only provides a polar bear with a weeks worth of energy to give you an idea of how much energy it takes to maintain one of these animals.

  • @thegirl44 ok I see what your saying, and I am sorry I called you a moron. You definatly are NOT one and I apologize. I understand what you are saying now, and thanks for clearing that up I just misunderstood your tone I guess. My bad...

  • @mvdiablo

    It's all good, no worries.

I think that it's safe to assume that the person commenting is coming from a bad place on this site as, sadly, most are.

Keep on rockin' in the free world, my friend.

  • @mvdiablo

And they aren't dying out from starvation. If they were why would the government still be distributing hunt tags for Polar Bear?

Look beyond the slickly produced movie that they showed you in class. Reality is much less scary.

  • Attenborough a legend

  • aww im gonna catch a whale today said the polar bear.

  • lol luv the dramatic music

i luv both polar bears and whales =)

  • Watching Animal Documentarys are 2393894% Better when Davin Attenborough is narrating. :}

  • @mariahandchristina so true.........

  • belugas arnt thin! Wth dont they weigh over 1000 pounds? And they have enough blubber so they wont freeze to death in the arctic waters.

  • @kablabrules he said these whales were thin due to the ice trapping them in causing starvation

  • vai se fude esse eh o urso polar mais nóia q eu ja vi

ele pulo em cima das baleia ele eh loko

  • beluga nd polar bears r so cute

  • Orcas hunt blue whales, enough said.

  • @mit871chell no they dont. they hunt gray whales and hump backs etc small whales and even then only whale calfs, show me a video of a orca killing an adult blue whale, WHICH by the way is the largest animal to ever exist on EARTH, and i will chop off my dickand mail it to you.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Orcas are their only natural predator, google it man, these things hunt in pods of 10, and are likely smarter than you.

  • @mit871chell ALL HAIL THE INTERNET ITS EVERY WORD IS TRUTH. learn to evaluate your sources moron. Orcas DO NOT EAT OR KILL BLUE WHALES. By being willing to debate this topic with you i give you credibility, therefor, to demonstrate just how ludicrous your claims are, this discussion is over. The topic is not even open to debate. If trolling please proceed to use a hammer to take your own life. And on a side note...killerwhales (accualy a dolphin)...smarter than man...*sigh* go kill yourself

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 My source: Sears R, Calambokidis J (2002). Update COSEWIC status report on the blue whale Balaenoptera musculus in Canada.. Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada, Ottawa.. pp. 32.

They go after the tongues, its a delicacy for them.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Orcas do hunt blue whales its been shown on a documentary b4..

  • @celtic889 THANK YOU. i knew i was right.

  • @celtic889 ive seen docs about orcas hunting blue whale young ones but not adults. Blue whale once reached adulthood have only humans as predators.

  • @sushanalone not sure abt the full grown ones....the only creature in the sea that i do know orcas would not attack wud be a full grown bull sperm whale.

  • il sont blesser

  • fail

  • IDGI, why doesn't he go after the seagull that is right in front of him?? I know it wouldn't fill him up but it's better than nothing.

  • @StarlightSweetie Too little meat, they don't waste energy.

  • here I wanna see them drag one of those whales out of the water, is there a video like that on here? fuckin stupid the way they dont show it.

  • Comment removed

  • @94jg @94jg XD There are no polar Bears in Antarctica; they're in the northern Arctic circle. =)

  • Comment removed

  • @94jg well they're designed for that particular area, if it goes above 10 celcius the bear will over heat so they're perfectly suited to where they are. they aren't in Antarctica either.

  • Comment removed

  • What's up with all those deep scars on those whale? Cuts from the ICE ?

  • @userkc2008 The Polar Bear kept clawing them

  • my favourite whale is beluga whale

  • well, polar bears are the largest meat-eaters on land, even bigger than Siberian tigers.

  • The Polar did kill the Beluga. The rest of the video is uploaded. Happens more often than people seem to think.

  • Why David Att pulls the plug in the last 3 min//. Is thids hatari?

  • So wwhere is the kill buddy?

  • a polar bear could kill an orca. when it gets swallowed, the whale could CHOKE! HA HA HA!

  • Polar bears are the ultimate animal.

  • @msowolfy The ultimate animal that will be extinct in 20 years.

  • He definitely can't play with an Orca!

  • How do they manage to film it like that....?

  • I wanted the polar bear to get a whale. Poor guy looked so thin and hungry.

  • japanese kill a very small amount of whales each year it does not affect the ocean eco system, yet AMERICANS! say they do fuck america

  • It's the way they do it thats wrong you ignorant shmut! I guess killing a few hundred people each year wont affect our eco system either.... does that mean it's ok????

  • @123123321assassin And yet here you are patronising an AMERCICAN website!!!

And for the record we stopped whaling because the animals were disappearing at an alarming rate. You all know Americans used to whale to right? We stopped because we were smart enough to try to preserve these animals for future generations, and those countries who joined us in the ban were smart enough to recognize a good thing!

  • So I guess that means the Japanese and every other wailing country just are not smart enough to figure out that if they keep up the harvest then their grand, or great grand children will only know of them from books and film. Grow up, the only people who should be allowed to hunt these animals, are the indigenous people who have always hunted them and other arctic mammals and fish for their survival.

  • that's why u bunch of ignorants are gonna be the first nation destroyed by PACHA MAMA.

  • Belugas are sooo cute...would hate to see one eaten by a bear but whatever...that's nature. Can't do much about animals killing eachother...heck, can't even do much about humans killing eachother!

  • @Karrigan117 you would hate to see one eaten so much that you clicked on the video called "polar bear hunts belugas whales"

  • Whale tastes really awesome

    -from Norway

  • What children with children minds.

  • Imagine a Peta activist seeing this. This is what they would say:

OMG, tat polur bare is sooo krewl. Why dont plour bare and beloogah wahle git along?

Goes to show everyone that nature is NOT a Disney film.

  • Um, not that I'm a PETA supporter, but just because you believe people shouldn't kill animals doesn't mean you believe animals shouldn't kill each other.

  • Oh sure, when a polar bear eats a whale we are like what a badass, but when the Japanese do it we call them monsters.

  • mm.. isnt that abit naive to think like that? polar bears do not exclusively hunt belugas, n they eat only when they need to. while we still need people to buy the products made from the whales which would result in over hunting. even if u ignore that aside, we humans are so much more in number than polar bears we fall under the conservation category of "least concerned"

  • We should be concerned. We're about to run out of oil. We might have to go back to whale oil.

  • Just some advice dont go around telling people that we are running out of oil and have to resort to whale blubber for oil. You will appear very ignorant just as your statement is. The Japanese are monsters for whaling there is ZERO reason for it along with the Asian fascination for shark fins which add ZERO taste to food. Both are irresponsible and destructive to the ocean ecosystem!

  • idiot. the japanese aren't killing thousands of people for 'peace'. they killl a very small number of whales a year. just becase americans think killing whales is inherently wrong, doesnt make it true. the number that the japanese kill has no real effect on population numbers, so it cant be the endangered a species card.

  • @anythingidontcare99 And just because what we think doesn't make it true doesn't make what you all think is true either, especially when you're hunting for whales in our waters.

  • @cmmdrsquid we are not that desperate...... yet jk

  • Haha, but bears also can't grow rice patties, or make cell phones and restaurants..... And the japanese don't even hunt beluga whales.

  • are you retarded???????polar bears kill whales to survive.they dont have anything else to eat. japanese use whales for selfish reasons so go and get hunted down you whale

  • Comment removed

  • put some video of 10 minutes... this is to short

  • Ive seen this one. the polar drags it out of the water and then a bigger polar bear comes and takes it!

  • of course youve seen this one you moron you just watched it

  • Orca would win

  • And then Chuck Norris would.

  • Lets see him try that shit with an orca.

  • lol orcas are too big for icebear you idiot :)

  • @Atomicskull an orcas not a whale and why the fuck would he do that with an orca i no ur angry but come on dude its nature

  • @Atomicskull they can do that with a orca u tard :P

  • @Atomicskull I think I read somewhere that there was some case of a orca eating a swimming polar bear.

  • @Atomicskull i know that comment is old, but i actually saw a documentation, about polar bears, that says they would be strong enough, to pull an orca out of the water, just with his paws.

  • @Schluffi93

no, i guarantee a full grown polar bear couldn't do that.. try lifting an animal the weight of an indian elephant out of the water...and with outstreches arms...won't work.

  • @Schluffi93

Not likely, orcas weigh 4-7 tons and have been known to eat polar bears.

  • @Atomicskull wouldn't work mate, wouldn't work

  • @Atomicskull you mean a megalodan.

  • @Atomicskull a Polar Bear can beat the SHIT out of an orca

  • @lightningbolt61 No, they really can't. Look at the size difference and you will see why.

  • @Atomicskull

That's pretty random. I don't see how orcas have anything to do with this video. It's like seeing a lion hunting a gazelle and saying "Let's see that lion try that with a rhino."

  • So where is he last 30 minutes Atty?

  • Polar Bear vs Whale - I told you Heartisthekey+Richshaw

  • Whale Blubber yum.

  • Because that's all they know how to do? We can think on more levels?

  • It's called the military, but festivities are referred to as tours and are more than once a week.

  • ur a retard, and I'm American u nut.

  • Well, for what reason would you kill one? Trophy perhaps? Fur? Those are not natural reasons. If you killed a bear when you're hungry with out the aid of unnatural things like guns, then well, that'd be natural. But when you have a protective jeep, guns, armor, and the such, then.. that's just hunting. Animals don't kill for trophies or just because it's a sport.

  • c and this retard, PsychedelicShamamamama doesn't understand that.

  • it's different here. we kill people cause we wan't to. they kill whales FOR FOOD. they HAVE TO. anyone could understand that. :P

  • 1. I'm American u retard so u just got ur biscuits burned.

    2. PEOPLE IN AMERICA SOMETIMES COMMIT HOMICIDE, (killing OTHER people). POLAR BEARS KILL WHALES FOR FOOD!

    A-DER-DER!

  • dont judge others cause ur a retard

  • these questions don't even warrant a response. or make sense.

  • aww those belugas are so cute!

  • Belugas are smart its a wonder they don't dragg him down

  • A polar bear will eat any thing it can. So would I in this environment

  • Wow is right!

  • Jeepers

  • Wow.

  • This video only shows one scene

  • I already told everyone on "Bear vs Tiger" of Davids exploits. POLAR BEARS EAT BELUGAS , and its recorded

  • oh i have this show recorded on my tv!

  • That Polar bear looks very skinny

  • Thats why he is hunting Beluga

  • Hunting?

You mean clawing at them with hope one will eventually bleed to death in his vicinity...

  • No I mean you have vnt seen Part II

  • I have been saying this for a year. Finally DA is posting. Go back a year.

  • Okay

  • the polar bear is immense. amazing how they are adapting to survive. they will eat anything because they are so hungry. this world is cruel and both these species are declining.

  • Thats what I call fishing! Its quite impressing to see them drag a 1 ton Beluga up from the water. Thats power!

  • why didn't the whales just jump the polar bear

  • how?

  • when the bear fell in water; the whales could of slap bear or something.

  • Comment removed

  • poor beluga whales their so cute

    i love beluga whales

  • Didn't see any successful hunting. A beluga whale is to much for a bear to handle

  • Comment removed

  • No there wasn't a catch this time but as said in the beginning the belugas are frequently hunted by Polar Bears hence the scars they have from near misses, I'm pretty sure that in the full version of that you see a beluga being caught and dragged off by a polar bear. It's been a while since I saw it though so may be wrong. But I have definitely seen one caught before.

  • The full version shows the BEAR hauling out a whale from the icehole.

  • You are correct Cereal. "The Trials of Life" videos show the Bear hauling one out. from the icehole.

  • Nature is an evil mistress! You're either starving or eating someone else who's starving. Not very cool, even if it is in the arctic... God why do I try to put a corny joke into
