@Golradir06 Thank you Mathieu for watching and for you very kind words. I am so glad my video will help. My cymbal set up is Paiste #201 20" ride, 16" crash, 14" hi hat, 16" zildjian crash. Inexpensive but very pleased with the sound quality. The set you see me using in my videos is an low end Rogers. I have 3 other sets with other cymbals. I let my kids and their friends use the set which is why it is my low end set.
@Golradir06 (continued from 1st message) My advice on learning this cover quickest is don't worry at all about playing exact. Keep the beat, develop a feel for the type of fills that sound well with the song. Remember you are only 1 person trying to do percussion of 3. The hardest part is the transition into and out of Gypsy Queen. These are the spots where a band will have the most difficulty staying together. Hope this helps
@lilianbui Your awesome Lily. You really are very kind and funny. I know what youu mean though. How can you sit still listening to that Santana Medley. I really enjoy playing that tune in my band because it get people on the dance floor and they usually have a blast dancing. Drumming Santana is neat because there are so many percussions that is gives me a good workout. LOL. Thanks again.
Absolutely amazing. U got the speed, some parts are really breathtaking ! I love these Santana's oldies. I'd tried to play them before but it didn't sound as good as yours. I was hoping you'd play Guajira at the end to complement the other 2 but I guess it'd be too long, no?
Thanks for the kind words tnngng. Yes it would be long. Maybe I will try drumming to Guajira. I wasn't familiar with that song but I just listened to some of it on the Tube and and really has a nice latin rythym to it. The other Santana song I have played out is "She's Not There". They do the best version of the song. At some point I hope to put that on. Keep practicing Black Majic Woman/Gypsy Queen/Oye Como Va. You will get it the way you want at some point. Just keep at it and push yourself.

@readyeddy101
Yeah I understand. The guitarist said the same about this song ^^ It's difficult because there are 3 percussion and I'm alone. But I'll try!
Thank you very much for your help and your advice! :)
