The best thing I ever did to any of my VW buses was Koni shocks. At $100 each is a great investment. And you will not believe how the power goes to the pavement.

NO and that's because it makes NO power even if the car comes off the dyno it isn't going to go anywhere because it makes no power. When they get the higher hp vw motors they tie a rope to the back of the car in case it comes off so it doesn't go forward n hit shit. these cars they tune do not make enough power to require straps the way they do it is safe, all of you on their vids bitching are IDIOTS
@87sprintqf No it isn't but keep in mind most vw's are known for having big torque compared to their hp. It may only be 55hp but the torque could be in the range of 140 or 150 foot pounds.

i have a 71 bus and its "lifted" the rear torsion bars have been turned and it has taller tires all around the shock are bigger to it has a nice ride
