  • I work for a Salvation Army corps and I can honestly tell you that we do help a lot of people. I am sorry that some of you who have commented here have had negative experiences with The Salvation Army- as in any organisation run by humans it is going to be imperfect. But there are many many, Godly and genuine people in TSA, like the man in this video. I have had the pleasure of meeting him once, and he certainly has a heart for helping people in the name of Jesus Christ. Peace.

  • @poeboy2 If you wish to believe The Salvation Army's lies to gain your money that that is your business. But I am telling you for a FACT that the do not help people beyond what they need to for publicity to convince small minded people like you that your donations are going to help anyone in REAL Need. I am not speculating here. I AM someone in REAL NEED and was turned away. And since I too gave money to them for 24 years, I just wanted to share these FACTS!

  • DO NOT give any money to the Salvation Army. They Don't help anyone in real need! Obviously, all the money they take in just goes into someone's pocket at their offices. I wish I had known this all of the years that I have given money to their bell ringers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @rrico777

If they don't help anyone in real need, then why is it that they feed the hungry every day in my city? Why is it that the Angel tree in our mall has been refilled three times this year with the names of needy kids and elderly people? Why do the people in our Salvation Army shop give away clothes and food to those who are in need?

  • if you believe in hope for the world then WHY THE FUCK DO YOU DISCRIMINATE AGAINST GAYS! fucking biggots

  • 2010 Annual Report! I want people to know the Salvation Army

  • @masarver Do you now? Well, I had my first ever encounter with The Salvation Army. Disappointing and vastly unimpressive. Once is quite enough. Quite.

  • @blewis9505

I am interested in reading about your experience with the group. Can you post it some place and provide a link?

  • @poeboy2 Really?

  • @blewis9505

    Yes

  • @poeboy2 (LOL)

  • @blewis9505

I am serious because I don't like criticism without proof. You might be right or you could just be another one who is trolling and issuing hateful statements out of a desire to gain attention for yourself. Or you might just hate the Salvation Army for some other reason. Or you could have really had a bad experience with a group that does a lot of good in the world. Without further comments from you your statement really can't help me or anyone else who is honestly open minded.

  • @poeboy2 Newsflash: It apparently has not dawned on you. Here's a little assistance as it is more than apparent you are in dire need of it. Anyone's personal experience is their own just as individual opinions (such as you've expressed here) belong to their authors. You are in no position to insist on anything; and, as far as what you like or do not like that, friend, is entirely your business and your problem.

  • @blewis9505 I was not insisting, simply asking. Since you feel no need to provide details then I will simply take your claim with a grain of salt. There really is no need to discuss this matter any more with you.

  • @poeboy2 You are under the misconception that we were "discussing" my post. "We" were not. You were trying to play hero in a misguided effort to defend (probably) your co-workers. Well, you've failed. Take off your "hero" or "heroine" cape and go back to your cubicle. You should have taken a hint from the OP on this page (above) "DO NOT give any money to the Salvation Army" :Mico 777. He/she, too, had a negative experience yet you (noticeably) didn't ask what/why. You're a fraud. A failure.

  • @poeboy2 YOUR inquiry is just as fake as the person(s) you're attempting to represent. Your disingenuous "interest" was apparent from the initial contact. Which, if you're in a "learning mode", is why you've received NO information other than what was posted in the first place. Get off your ass and go ring those bells. From what's been published your "group's" donations are down this year. You're the only one too dumb to figure out why. You and your friends have been DISMISSED. Get it? Good.

  • @blewis9505 I am not officially connected with the Salvation Army in any shape or form, nor have I ever pretended to represent anyone other than myself. Again this discussion has become pointless and I am no longer interested in your sour grapes. I am quite certain that you're just another one who is out to bury the group due to their Christian values. Try starting your own group that helps the poor if you want to show the group how it is really done. Stop being part of the problem for once.

  • @poeboy2 Whomever you are "officially" connected with needs to put your Bible thumping false "christian" (lower case intentional) ass to work. You've got way too much time on your hands. And, incidentally, if you want to do anything for your so-called faith you're going have to do what many of your ilk are not doing--and, that entails working on your bedside manner; e.g., your approach. Nothing worse than a pompous pious religious idiot nutcase which you clearly are. STFU.

  • @blewis9505 I'm just a human being who works a normal job like everyone else. At no time did I say I was a Christian or not, you're making assumptions. How should I have approached you on this matter? Should I have bowed down and kissed your butt? I have no plans to do that, thank you. Now stop smearing charities that help people, shut up and stop whining and get a life.

  • @poeboy2 You're a buttinsky without a life. You suffer from a "Save A Charity" complex and in your delusions you troll YouTube looking for "causes" you can take up. Well, Bozo, you are unsuccessful and you have been summarily dismissed without so much as a partial answer to your original question. That, in and of itself, would indicate that you should have used the emergency exit early on and ridden off into the sunset. Now get thee to a physician to see what can be done for your condition. LOL
