@KalleBalleBoll Wrong and Wrong, you should have said that as a result of conquest in the 12th Century that Swedish rule was established by the crusades. That does not make Finland a Swedish Province, it was simply a captured province

In the light of your reasoning, South Africa and India should still belong to Britain.

It also ought to be mentioned that Finland also became part of the Grand Duchy of the Russian Empire,from there Finland declared its Independence from Russia around 1917. Duh!

My grandparents had to leave their homes in Karelia....they could take with them only what they could carry and leave the rest behind. What a sad sight....a caravan of walking people... with some kettle and horses pulling waggons loaded with what ever furniture they could take with.

My grandmother longed back there for all her life...until her dyingday. Im sure that so many of them longed back...
