  • This is awesome! Great job!

  • UH... UH... AWESOME!!!

  • @chelsc31 dont be trollin.

  • for the record, in the chorus he says "aluminium"...which isn't an element....

  • @chelsc31 Aluminium isn't an element?? So what's 13 on the periodic table? Kool Aid??

  • @chelsc31 it is an element

  • @YungLenny @narutoman53535 @ itsMinutemaid it's "aluminum", not "aluminium". small, but common mistake.

  • @chelsc31 Lol. Out of interest. Has anyone in this conversation checked out the wiki etymology of the word Aluminium/aluminum. Basically there's tradition verses standardisation. Traditionally it depends on where you're from. Just use the spelling that makes you happy or if not then the one that is considered a standard in your field of study/work.

  • @chelsc31 no it is an element

  • @chelsc31 i am studying the periodic table at the moment

  • @chelsc31 It's not a mistake. It can be called aluminium and aluminum depending on where you live (for example they say aluminium in the UK).

  • Thanks Jon that's really helpful and clever thing to do keep it up

  • awsome song

  • I don't like rap but this is awesome!! :D I may actually learn XD

  • This should be funded and required in early education... because learning shouldn't have to be boring, dull, and dry... it can be awesome like this!

  • my science teacher showed this to us today.

I was the only one who actually thought you were really from the UK.

  • yeii!! look it took me only 1 hour to memorise that!! (the chorous) jejeje

  • HAHA i luv it!! i saw this in my 8th grade science class and my teacher was like dancing to it and alot of people were singing it I0I ;D

  • Why is this not on itunes.... :o AMAZING!!!! I learned my ELEMENTS!!!!! :9 THNKS DUDE!!!!!

  • @jemistories12 It's currently being put on itunes. It might be there now; if not then within the next few days :)

  • The Professor brought me here because he believes the chemical composition of this rap is EPIC!!!!!!!!

  • keep it up man!

  • Best Periodic Table rap ever :]

  • This song is the bomb :-D Love it ;-)

  • Thank you!!! That song really brings joy into learning chemistry and is kind of motivating!! Please keep on with that "scientific Hip Hop" :)

  • Hey @Oortkuiper can we get a full lyrics sheet?

  • @TabascoMMA On my website w w w.scienceraps.co.uk/rap_science_periodic_table.html

  • @Oortkuiper The link doesn't work.

  • @jodydessi You have to remove the spaces between the w w w (Youtube doesn't allow people to post website addresses)

Alternatively type scienceraps into Google and select the second link :)

  • On scienceraps website go to Rap Science section to view the songs. Lyrics for my different science raps can be found on that page.

  • How can he remember all?

  • I know the periodic table like the back of my hand now, but this would have definitely helped me in the past, when that wasn't the case.

Nice job, I would definitely recommend this to beginners!

  • And breathe

  • My teacher found this recently and we have to memorize this rap and recite it as a project grade! This is a lot to memorize :/

  • @LoveWJB Wow. Silverwingedseraph managed to learn the chorus in two days (although they listened to it about 30 times). Would be good to hear how it goes for you...and if it helps. Good luck :)

  • thats fucking deadly

  • best rap song I have ever heard.

  • Thank!!! For making chemistry fun.

  • my teacher gave us this as a project to learn the hole song den rectite it. :)

  • @blackninja2620 You in the same class as LoveWJB? They have to do that too. Let me know how it goes; hope it helps you pass some tests too. Good luck

  • @Oortkuiper yea we are, we will and Thank you!

  • @blackninja2620 Aint it crazy smh..

  • Took me about two days to memorise the chorus, but I listened to the song A LOT over the last few days. Hell, I've probably listened to it about 30 times or more today. It's just so damn catchy, and I love science raps.

  • class rap, very clever

  • may i pleaseee get the lyrics to this song i really need them for my class at school to help with our classroom activity.

  • @KKiToria Hi guys. Glad you're liking the rap. you can find the lyrics on my website. Here is a link.

    w w w.scienceraps.co.uk/rap_science_periodic_table.html.

Feel free to check out the other science music there too. Enjoy,

    O.K

  • @Oortkuiper PS. You'll need to take out the spaces in the w w w :)

  • @KKiToria Or you could listen and type and not ask for handouts.

  • This is so well written - being used in my Chemistry classes.

  • Amazing! You deserve a Aurum Trophy, huh <.<

  • whoever disliked this needs shot.

  • Excellent!!

  • I LOVE THIS

  • You sir are awesome! I shared this with a high school chemistry teacher I am sure her students will love it!

  • I expected it to be to the tune of modern major general.

  • So. Much. Win.

  • What does it say before Krypton? "Where is this Kryton?"

  • @Clairenna "Thirty Six Krypton" (Krypton's proton number is 36)

  • GENG xD

  • This is much better than the original periodic table song, that one is just boring. Your version tells us so much more. that and FAT BEAT

  • dopee

  • Oh man, I'd love to see you cover every element in the table. Maybe Parts 2 and 3?

  • @toastforbrekkie Exactly my thoughts - it would be brilliant to have a rap with the WHOLE period table in one.

  • @Clairenna

Things might get a little tricky when you get lower down :P

  • Please post lyrics!!

  • OMG this rap is sooooo awesome!!!! I just learned the first eighteen elements by just listening to this rap five times!!!! Thx SOOOO MUCH!!!

  • @MrLatinNerd Good work. How much do you remember now though; Has it stayed in your head? :)

  • @Oortkuiper It has actually!

  • @MrLatinNerd :)

  • word.

  • This was AWESOME. I am taking chemistry all this year, and I recently had to take the placement exam. While I did fine, if I had found this two weeks ago, I would have done even better. LOL More please! I'll need these all year.

  • Dear @oortkuiper, this is fantastic. You are so right that -- as fun as Lehrer's song is -- it teaches nothing. This rap is educational. And it is AWESOME. More, please! Thank you!!

  • @planetsocblog Thanks. Don't know if you've seen them already but I have more Science raps on my youtube channel. Enjoy :)

  • I've not once in my life felt attracted to a dude. After hearing this though, I'm kinda worried :/

  • My friend linked me to this. :) I like this better than the Tom's because it gives you more than just the names. I'M GOING TO MEMORIZE THIS. You did a really amazing job!

  • You sir, are awesome!

  • Why is this thing so popular in norway? 0.o

  • you f**ckin rock dude!!

  • BEST revision tool EVER!!!

  • you remind me of mc frontalot sort of. either way this was sexy and i think it gives some good info

  • This is sick! Well done. :) I learned the first 50 digits of pi off of Hard 'n Phirm's song, so I have a feeling if I listen to this enough (and I will), I'll get it down. But more importantly, you're right, your song is way more useful for learning about the Table then Lehrer's would be. Would love to use this as a review tool for gen chem students or as a motivator for those who can't get into chemistry!

  • needs more download/itunes links

  • thats so Awesome

this is gonna be BiG =-)

  • Well done mate! I wish you were my chemistry teacher when I took it in Year 12!

  • More! More! No seriously, more! Subscribing now. Have you heard symphonyofscience?
