  • this will be my new ringtone not the new one

  • Lovely and it will be cool during any organ concert....especially if any guest will have his / her cell ON ringing during the performance :o))

  • I think this is a so brilliant invention but far to be a"fugue" .a piece to be a fugue you have to get a thema and have to repeat it in whole piece but you only repeat it in the begining and sometimes its heard in somewhere but not enough I think but a good invention good work

  • @orkunzafer I whole-heartedly disgree. The principal theme is stated in the exposition, development (middle entries) and also in the final entries. In this fugue, I entered the theme as a stretto as well, which is another addition.

Bach's WTC II, fugue in g minor: count how many entries there are. There are more entries in that fugue than mine. Please study before making claims thanks.

  • @orkunzafer Also, an invention consists of TWO voices, not three or four. Therefore, this cannot be an invention either.

  • @newmusic333 oh friend you are in the molds .I think music is free.I wanted to say it is an invention as a word. And I know its also a form of music, but I meant there are some good inventions too.And so I can say it is an invention Anyway I dont like molds in music. And I can write an invention for three or more voices.I do claim:D if Beethoven thought like you ,music would be never stated in that way

    Meanwhile have a good day:D

  • @orkunzafer I get your point. However, you are talking about my "fugue" as a form. As a "form", just like an "invention" there is a exposition, development and a recap. Therefore, you cannot say it is NOT a fugue.

  • @orkunzafer Your description of a fugue is very vague. You say that a theme is only "repeat(ed) in the beginning and sometimes it's heard in somewhere."

The main flaw in your claim is the "answer." Inventions do not generally employ an answer to the subject in the dominant key. However, a fugue does. As does mine.

This begs the question, If you think music is free, why do you categorize my "fugue" to be a "non-fugue?"

  • @orkunzafer Hmm, anyway, have a good day.

I am actually not as angry as it looks on the page.

And technically, a three-part invention is a sinfonia, if you want to categorize.

However, as you said, music is free.

Talking about Beethoven, his "Grosse Fugue" is technically an invention, according to your descriptions. Even though, he called it a fugue... a grand fugue.

Anyway, as I said, I am not a crazy hot headed person. Actually, I may be.

Nonetheless, have a good day :D

  • @orkunzafer for fucks sake enjoy the music for what it is, I think the fugue has been carefully put together, and you are not the only one who can write a fugue or 3 or 4 part invention, I've written a full Requiem Mass, which has been performed and well recieved. Appreciate the music and shut the fuck up!

  • I WANNA THIS SONG ON MY FUNERAL.

  • This composition has the potential to repopularize the fugue and bring amused and delighted smiles to people attending organ recitals - and church services.

    Barry Waterlow, MMus RCCO

  • the fugue is wonderful, I don't like the playing, though

  • @TheSuperCaiman Thanks a lot. I hope someone will play it one day.

I mean, I can play on the piano, but don't have the time to do so now.
