Some people may not know that Alan Moore 1st wrote The Wacthmen with existing DCs. DC thought it unusable because it would kill off or destory reputaions of some of their best chracters & turn them adults-only where some were family-friendly before. But they liked it enough to suggest Moore rewrite it with original characters. It probably originally featured Peacemaker, Captain Atom, Batman, Thunderbolt, Mr. A, Nightshade, and dozens of other DCs. non-disclosure prevents certianty on characters
