  • i think those things are quite cute

    may beetyles even more

so cute, you give them some leefs and they just eat it while sitting on youre hand

  • Lol, wowwwwww. Here in texas those are everywhere. everynight.

  • its just a beetle. The amount of insect species is mind boggling. Beetles have some of the most ingenious wing mechanisms. Their wings actually fold into armor plated protective appendages. If these things were as big as tanks nothing would be able to destroy them.

  • fuckshit. thats disgusting.

  • Yep...june bug. They're everywhere here in southeast texas in the summer. I'm not big on touching bugs, but I have no problem picking them up. They're harmless. They just fly because they are attracted to the lights in your house when you leave the doors or windows open.

  • Yep...june bug. They're everywhere here in southeast texas in the summer.

  • its a june bug i know it is cuz i c em all the time and i have a pet june bug i call him june bob ^^ he lives in my lawn haha

  • That is definitely not a June bug. June bugs were everywhere in the Midwest. Once I moved to each coast (NJ & WA) I stopped seeing them. June bugs are like flying black rocks. While bike riding or out for a walk at dusk, it wasnt uncommon to find a June bug stuck to my neck or in my hair. The bug you found looks like a regular ol' beetle.

  • ya its just a june bug, theyre harmless, i play with them all the time

  • waa it is scary u know

  • Scary? I see those things all the time where i live (south west). They're attracted to light... They also stink when burned....

  • you think thats bad? i found a japenese horned beetle in my room.. scary shit.

  • That's abeetle of some sort, but it is not a June bug. June bugs have green backs, not brown.

  • EAT IT !

  • Dude every year around the same time we get hella infested here with those things, I hate them and want them all to die. We call them june bugs or may beetles

  • chauffeur beetle..... i think....

  • @ the vid description

    tl;dr ;)

  • Is a beattle

  • the description is longer than the vid

  • we call them Christmas Beetles.

  • You wrapped it up and threw it in the garbage? Jesus Christ. I understand they scare you, but why didn't you just toss it outside? You didn't have to make it die a slow and painful death.

  • With this one, get a match and burn it.

  • omfg? tht scared you? i love those bugs

  • That is one long description!!! HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO WRITE??? lol

  • Thats A June Bug... We Get Them All The Time

  • june bug we get thousands down here

  • wow, June bugs are so scary...

  • @sarah3021 Whether you're a vegetarian or not is irrelevant. You wanted to kill something because you thought it looked scary...I woukld also point out that I wasn't trying to be aggressive, but some of the comments I've seen are just needlessly cruel. Yours in particular wasn't that bad, but I've seen people with 50 thumbs ups for asking why nobody squashed a wolf spider that was carrying babies on its back.

  • @sarah3021 And there we have it.

The human race in all its glory. We destroy an innocent animal because we don't like how it looks.

    How shameful.

  • left him in the garage huh hope your parents run it over when they leave 4 work

  • It"s a COCK ROACH Positive! It"s still gross but I"d rather have a cock roach in my bed then a BED BUG cause ROACHES don"t feed off of people!

  • @evelove1958 e-e Cock-roaches are completly different. Not only are they bigger, they have larger antenna and don't have shells.

  • Its a stupid beetle. Commits suicide by flying into ceiling Fans.

  • thats not scary, i see those all the time

  • its a june bug or a cockoroch

  • My kids love playing with these. Just a june bug. noisey but harmless.

  • umm i think it waz eating the plastic O.O

  • It´s a cockroach cousin

  • Just a june bug

  • June bug. Kill it. Wrecks lawns. Must die.

  • @Jim4575 what if u were the bug.

    it has feelings too

  • @Jim4575 Human. Kill it. Wrecks the entire ecosystem. Must Die.

I love comments like yours Jim, so one sidedly stupid and retarded that it actually makes me envy you for it. Oh the peace of being so high up in your own ass that nothing actually bothers you or catches your attention. Perfectly safe in an artificially created illusion where everything on this planet is just there to annoy you and needs to be stepped on.

Hell yeah, after all you are not part of earth. Earth is a part of you.

  • @Aerensiniac Ha! Your really dumb. You just can't handle the fact that a June bug is a pest. I live in the real world not some backward 3rd world country. I don't live in any artificially created world , you must since yours is crawling with bugs. Maybe a mosquito with Bot fly larva will land on you head bite you and drop off a larva which left unchecked borrows into your empty head. The sound of it gnawing should make you go nuts. Now are you going to kill it or just let it become another fly?

  • @Jim4575 Yep i see your point. I guess i would shoot you on sight too for the pest you are. Oh wait... thats not ethical.

    Hypocrisy gentlemen. Hypocrisy everywhere.

  • @Jim4575 That doesn't look like any June bug I've ever seen! (Then again I've only lived in the south 8 months, so what do I know?)

  • @VFB1210 I do believe you are right. Yes what would you know living in the south for 8 months. I mean what would I know about the City of Toronto?

  • OMG ITS A SCARY HARMLESS MAY BEETLE

  • We get those a lot in Louisiana. They're completely harmless, though people often panic when they feel them walking around. They have prickly little legs.

  • these are very harmless and fun to play with i often find some in my house , they don't tend to fly alot , but their really cute , just don't squish em'!

  • Its cute!!! Can I have it?

  • Phyllophaga is a very large genus (more than 260 species) of New World scarab beetles in the subfamily Melolonthinae. Common names for this genus and many other related genera in the subfamily Melolonthinae are May beetles, June bugs, and June beetles. They are medium to large in size (8-25 mm) and are blackish or reddish-brown in color, without prominent markings, and often rather hairy ventrally.

  • you need to clean your room

  • omg its a poisionas killer bug !!! i

  • New lifeforms are evolving in your room?

I think it is time to clean your room! ; )

  • Thats one ugly bug

  • OMG that thing is frigging huge !!!!

  • i bet if you chew it up and swallow it, it won't be able to harm you

  • Scary? LOL...

  • Not British, obviously, but I'd say it was a Cockchafer, but the colouring is wrong.

So its probably one of those 'June Bug' things you guys have, which is kinda the same kindof beetle, only smaller and thinner.

  • It is a cock-chafer or maybug. We have got them in summer in our garden too and the are really totaly stupid.

  • its nicknamed "june bug". i like them. they are terrible flyers and often slam into me when im on my bike. harmless.

  • For the record you have the longest description i ever read on youtube lol but thats nasty and its like eating its way out of the plastic...crazy motha fucka

  • I get those in my house in the summer i call em june bugz

  • whos that pokemon?!

    iiits thatwierdasslookingthing!

they mean you no harm =)

  • Them bugs are off rose bushes!

  • LOL! This video reminded me of my sis with a bee in her hair. She ran around the pool screaming "GET IT OUT, GET IT OUT!"

  • how did i end up watching a june bun in a cup? I started off at the annoying orange and took a wrong turn some where lol.

  • @meeluvsu12 the question is "why did you start off at the annoying orange?" I'd rather watch june bugs and sissies :p

  • @RyanUnplugged b.c =P but seriously its amazing were you end up when your on youtube lol

  • @meeluvsu12 Wow That's Really Weird... I Was Watching The Annoying Orange Too... Haha

  • Omg I actually like these things. Tie a string of thread to there leg. Instant kite XD lol am I the only one that does that? I kinda think I am. Except it's gross when there leg falls off D;

  • @WootPuppy2 i used to have long hair and my ungle asked for one of my hairs so i was like ok? and he tied it to a fly and it flew for a couple secounds and then died..lol

  • @WootPuppy2 , the word is "their," not "there."

  • @35mm35

    Oh. Well.

  • i hate these things...

lmao last summer i got attacked by them O.o

  • Scary? Whatever.

  • lol i have a friend that is scared to death of these.... he'll experiment with drugs... but he is afraid of a little bug... I admit most insects are annoying but to be afraid of them?

  • thats funny

  • june bug, they come out like once a year, they're absolutely harmless, unless u have long hair

  • I really dislike June Bugs especially when they have their population booms. You literally can't walk any where without hearing crunch crunch crunch. They stick to you like Velcro. I attribute my dislike to of one flying into the back of my throat while I was talking. Unless you chew them it's nearly impossible to swallow them. It took me about 5 minutes to dislodge the damn thing. They are harmless but I have a very low tolerance for them.

  • were i live every summer they come out i found alot im my pool

  • I have a CRAZY friend who had his 5 year old son record him eating a whole bunch of them. They are June Bugs. He also, mentioned in the video that they taste a lot like Kettle Corn. He a pretty crazy dude indeed.

  • pussy

  • hahaha its a june bug. those are obnoxious as hell! especially when your out for a smoke break with the lights on... they fly all over the place... my friends and i played 'who-can-kill-the-most' lol it was great.
