im not big on politics but i think that politicians should focus more on being honest and truthful and seriously address the issues that the younger generations face. obama has big name (current)celebrities to endorse him but that's kind of like bribing the younger generation with candy. i dont see him warming up to teens, or addressing issues/ or handling topics (with solutions that he himself does not believe but will say to get votes), such as abortion, drugs/alcohol, education and the war

Detroit-proper almost votes entirely Democrat, and most Detroiters approved of Obama over Clinton, though we were not able to vote for him in the primary. Detroit is extremely hospitable and definately clapped. Nevertheless, most politicans lie. It still less dramatic of a lie than Clinton's about being under sniper gunfire; and less than McCain's about his plans to better America.

It sounds like the video is showing two different parts of the speech. In one he said "there is no reason to make fuel efficient cars in Japan, Detroit needs to stop dragging its ass." And then in the video that got applause it was about health care and putting government money into fuel efficiency.
