Yngwie's talented as shit, but all of his stuff sounds the same. Jason Becker's playability is about the same as Malmsteens I think, however, his shit isn't at all repetitive, and it's a lot easier to listen to. Paul Gilbert's alternate is unrivaled, and is a true musician as well. Overall, Yngwie is a good guitarist, but INCREDIBLY overrated. Feel free to flame me all ya want, playas. :]

They are actually trying to compare different styles of music, and saying that there is a way to judge which music is better then others, or 2. Everything in music is subjective, its impossible to prove Bach better then Beethoven, by what means do we judge them by? When somebody, or anybody says somebody is the best at something msuical, its there opinion. The only material you have to work with is his playing will in X-Japan under yoshiki. You can say "you dont know what hide can really do, Yoshiki's music held him back" well okay, what about the songs that hide wrote for X Japan?
