also, I was across the street in the Paramount Theater watching a movie about Clarence Clemons while Bruce was playing this gig. Clarence was sitting near me in the theater. There was an after-party at another local bar after the film screening--which I stupidly decided not to go--and Bruce also showed up at the after party. So I missed both gigs. So close and yet so far....

@thefastshuffle This is at a place called the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ on 4/2/11. The Wonder Bar is just down the street from the legendary Stone Pony.  Bruce was a surprise guest at a special seminar about the roots and future of black music sponsored by a local church in the afternoon, then showed up to play this gig Sat. night. Southside Johnny Lyon from the Asbury Jukes is also in here.
