i had seen its malayalam, tamil, and hindi versions i think in malayalam the acting and dancing of shobana is awesome!! the direction is also good in malayalam bcoz it is a classical movie giving importance to actress and superstars mohanlal and sureshgopi supported her innocent is also good. but in tamil it is pakka commercial all attention goes to rajani thats not fine.in hindi also we didnt get a classical touch.malayalam is awesome

shobana is one of the best actresses of Indian film industry..i have watched both hindi and tamil version of the same movie...but to be very frank neither jyothika nor vidhya could do justice to the role played by shobhana in original movie released in 1990...Both in dance and acting!!!!!!And not only shobhana but the whole original movie is far far better than the copied ones!!!!I had watched this movie as a kid..i'm still scared to watch this movie alone...

Masterpiece, amazing, indescribable. This is something cannot be remade. Shobhana was at her best. Not a surprise that she won a National Award for this. What you saw in Tamil,kannada and hindi was pure Bu** **it. It was a mockery of the original one. I mean comparing Jyothika nd Vidya Balan for Shobhana,s role......wake up people. Its not acceptable. The Malayalam Version Rocks.

The dancing in this is better but the chemistry between the dancers is much stronger in Bhool Bhuliya. Seriously, look how she smiles as he twirls past her. Its hard to believe she's just acting in love.

There is another song in this film "Oru murai vanthu paarayo" which is composed in the Raaga Aagiri. There is a superstition that the raaga Aagiri sholud not be sung at night. If we do so,we wont get food..

This is a great song but the best part of the song is from 4:17 to the end. For that, all the credit goes to Yesudas. I don't think theres another human being on this planet that could've made it any better.

1990s were the golden period of Malayalam cinema. I have no idea where we are headed now. Although to be fair, films from Renjith and Lal Jose seems to have a positive flair to them. Hopefully the rift between AMMA and MACTA or whatever organisations won't hinder the progress
