I´ve heard that they have made a lot of improvements in Copper Peak. They enlarged the landing slope to alow flights near 180 meters.Werner Schuster, our current trainer in germany helds the record with 158 meters. There are a lot of efforts to reopen this awsome jump. The tower is the highest in the world. I live near the Oberstdorf ski flying hill, built by Heini Klopfer. He also created the copper peak jump. Copper Peak is in Ironwood, Michigan. It's in the Upper Peninsula. It opened in 1969, but was last used in 1994. So far, no real improvements have been made due to lack of funds.

Nice video. It`s Copper Peak near Ironwood.The biggest and highest artificial ski slide in the world.They enlarged the landing slope.Maybe 200 meters could be flown.I hope they reopen it in near future. It`s my favourtie ski jump, because the tower of the ramp looks so scary. Greatings from a skijumping fan from germany.
