@deebooma You know for a fact? I've seen documentaries on the deaths of 2Pac & Biggie, and read some stuff on it myself. If you KNOW for a fact, c'mon then, why did they die? Thousands of people couldn't crack it...
@deebooma that's what i'm saying, their murders were beyond some crew shit, it was on the government lever. Pac had the feds on on his ass. They both die in busy cities will tons of people around and no one saw anything, the crime scene wasn't even blocked off or anything, it's messed up how they are trying to sweep their murders under the rug and make it seem like they killed each other.
Fuck KRS, Tupac and Biggie didn't die because of hip hop or any eastcoast/westcoast beef. It's sad that someone so revered in the hip hop community like him doesn't even know the details as to why it all happened. KRS is buying into the media's story of why it happened, like some kid who's wet behind the ears or something.
KRS ONE was always far far far too intelligent and intellectual for the whole hip-hop thing...he's too bright for that audience..way too far ahead of them mentally..
ISeenACar87 First, your "answer" to me was quite non-responsive to what I actually said. Second, all you did in your response was offer your opinion, no real facts. KRS-ONE, this is not a religion. Its about making money. Its the entertainment business. You're trying to apply some kind of moral code to a pure money making situation. You are living in fantasy land, bro.
@IvanLendl87 No it's not a religion, however it is a lifestyle. Before the "entertainment business", people seem to forget that this was about freedom and rebellion.
@IvanLendl87 That so called fantasy land existed not too long ago. Go learn about the history before you start. Public Enemy influenced a lot of the Rodney King uprisings. Na man read 'LAbyrinth' its written by a ex LAPD officer who dove way too deep into the investigastions of both the murders. Death Row was truly 'gangster', they hired LAPD as body guards, were murdering people and getting away with it etc. Pac and Biggies cases were never 'solved' because in doing so would have implicated HEAPS of LAPD in the process.

Man, thats some bad ass shit you saw! I'm all about The Game and Young jeezy, I fucking hate Soulja Boy!I don't care what anyone says about Soulja Boy being original, I agree with Ice T "Soulja Boy's Music is Garbage."
Soljua Boy doesn't represent me, he may represent all the girls out who want to do his dance, but give me some true lyrical content and let me be out. In my opinion The Game is the best new rapper, but my heart still sits with NWA, The DOC, Tupac, King T, KRS One and Nas
i still cant understand why people are sayin that BIGGIE had somethin to do with TUPAC'S death, because BIGGIE didnt have anything to do with that. BIGGIE didnt even make a diss rap about TUPAC. TUPAC was killed because him & his crew beat up a gang member named ORLANDO ANDERSON after a MIKE TYSON fight, & later on that night, ORLANDO'S crew found TUPAC & killed him, in VEGAS. end of story
Orlando anderson.. come on that's just stupid.. Orlando anderson.. got beat then he calls he's other southside crip freind's who's probably along way from the casino.. and they get there guns and start their cars they find tupac wridding around in a car with suge in a big town like las vegas in only 2 hours.. then they should have been pretty lucky too have made it that fast..
since the murder is unsolved no one can say who killed who, there are so many theories.
Biggie could have paid someone to kill pac, they were both hot heads, and YES Biggie did make a diss song against pac, it's called "Who Shot ya," and he mentioned pac a in a couple other tracks in just a few bars.
I mean, it's possible.I mean why do you think that Afeni Shakur didn't want a federal invesitigation and BIG's mom did. Because if it was opposing gangs than some major war could have broke out.
WELL, youre only 24 years old, so back in the mid 1990's when all that beef was goin on, you was just basically a baby, so let me let u know that "WHO SHOT YA" was actually made before the beef with PAC. & the only song i know that BIGGIE mentioned TUPACS name was in "BROOKLYNS FINEST" featuring JAY-Z. maybe u can name another song where BIGGIE dissed PAC. but i doubt it, because that beef was before your time, im 37, so that beef was the peak on my era, me & TUPAC are the same age, ok youngin?
I know of Brooklyn's Finest with Jay-Z,Off the Life After Death LP; Notorious Thugs, Long Kiss Goodnight, My Downfall,Niggas Bleed and What's Beef. I mean of course BiG's disses were no where near the intensity of Pacs. His shit was more subtle and subliminal, but it's their, it may not be as over the top. I would say some stuff is more obvious, but thats what makes a great MC. BIG was one of the best of all time, hands down.
it's true I'm a young one (may be considered old by todays hip hops fans)I was barely getting into hip hop when pac and biggie died. That shit was tragic I was like 12 years with my first rap records, Ice Cube's Lethal Injection and Naughty By Nature's Poverty's Paradise. That shit is still bangin today!
yeah, i was your age at 24 when the whole EAST COAST vs WEST COAST was going down in 1995, i was even at the source awards when SUG KNIGHT diss PUFF. youll be amazed what ive seen & experienced in the 1990's NEWYORK, there was nothin better than being in your 20's in the 1990's NEWYORK HIPHOP ERA, because if u was in your 20's, u was able 2 go 2 all the concerts & clubs 2 see all the hottest rappers at the time. ive seen BIG, PAC, WUTANG, NAS, ONYX, MOBB, & many more.that time was great youngsta
the only verse where biggie actually dissed pac is on the j dilla/busta rhymes/biggie song that never got completed. big's verse back then was eventually edited, shortened, and used on the song "dangerous mc's" from born again...
"dangerous you're not, I gets down/ leave your body ROUND AND ROUND, upside down...
biggie also originally used the "faith had twins" line on the extended version of this unreleased verse before he re-used it on "brooklyn's finest".
Who shot ya wasn't made to be a diss song, but u are right, the part at the end was mocking 2pac, so really it was more making fun of him than dissing him
your right! Have you watched the "Notoriuos" movie? I have been tempted to watch it, but If it sucks I don't want to bother. I have tried checking out reviews but they are all kind of vague.
