I think both Nana and Aya are superb! even tho I'm a liiiiiittle biased towards Nana<<<a lot xD

but that's not probably the case, often the song is composed with respect to the original singer's vocal range and capabilities, so it sounds good with Aya..

listen to their voices at 1:39 they are really on same grounds, almost sound like same singer is singing (but in reality its easy to distinguish between their voices)

@KuroiYuki88 Lol, I agree. Not so sure I liked their performance of Parallel Hearts, but Yuriko Kaida sounded great in the concert as did Keiko (as always). Wakana sounded flat, but at least she was consistent. Kaori seemed to have trouble holding the notes at times, but she nailed her RE:BRIDGE part. I'm just happy I get to see Kaori after they left Sound Horizon off the 2008 DVD :D

Suara and Ishikawa's voices are just ageless. I simply can't get enough of them. Omi Tomoe also turned out to be a big surprise, since I've only heard her as the accompaniment for Maze. Haha I may end up buying this year's DVD after all. =D

Yeah, I've seen some bloggers talk about the event. And let me tell you, a lot were disappointed at Nana and Aya's opening act for Day 2. xD

As much as I am a fan of both Nana Mizuki and Aya Hirano. They just don't mix together with DISCOTHEQUE. If it was a different song, Aya would have sound much better but... Aya tried her hand on Nana's vibrato skills and she fails miserably. xD

Aya shouldn't have tried to copy Nana's vibrato abilities but well... x.x;

Actually it's a bit unfair to compare Nana MIzuki's 'experience' in singing to Aya Hirano's 'experience' as to we're having here a professional and a newbie (White Album it is, yes hahaha!) So I just thought it's a bit unfair, but no hard feelings anyways. A lot said about Yukarin's duet with Nana (animelo2008) in the OP for day 1 was bad too, =/ But oh well, let's just wait for the awesome DVD and hear it for ourselves =DD

Its true though, everyone has different singing abilities. Yes. Nana is superior to Aya in so many ways but Aya has skills that can surpass Nana's as well. So in a way, every singer has their own special singing style.
