The western world is watching in awe - in times of recession and poverty this really is a topic people deal with in the US? How f*cked up. And not Christian at all. Christian would be to spend all the money on food and shelter for the poor and homeless. Many more countries legalize it and nobody questions it. I have friends that are there! I'm so happy I'm crying joyful tears! I haven't been following this so please enlighten me. Is the supreme court going to decide weather proposition 8 was unconstitutional and if they find it unconstitutional, California have to retract this law?

@Censeo, the case is at the Federal District Court level, and Judge Walker is giving his ruling on Prop 8 tomorrow. The ruling can be appealed to the court of appeals, and can again be appealed all the way to the US Supreme Court later on.
