    ive had it since i was little and dad baught it so i actually dont know but im sure u can get them from most sports equipment shops :)

  • @hpccs as much as you can stand. but i wouldnt go over 30 minutes at a time. puts stress on joints. do 30 minutes 3x a day. should get a split in 1-2 weeks depending on flexability

  • @TongYunJai you can get a mat for a computer chair for like 20 bucks, designed for the plastic casters to roll on carpet

  • i just bought a similar leg stretcher and im waiting for it to ship. If you dont mind my asking, how close were your splits before and after you got the leg stretcher you used in the video?

    also, did it help your front splits at all?

  • @ryanywarrior i wasnt very far in the front splits very much until i used the machine every second day and now im almost flat

    did u do it everyday, cuz i intend too so im hopefully i gain it as fast as i can, cuz i dont like the idea of my sifu, pushing down on my back while i struggle lol

    It will help for sure , I got one for muay thai; how many time can you rotate the wheel untill your feel pain ?

    I was at 12 roatation a month ago now I'm at 15 rotations and when you reach 20 rotations your at splits

  • @kironkabir it depends on how often you stretch. if you do it every day or every second day you will get it quickly

  • I tried one of these and all I get is pain. Even after I'm warmed up. Can it be that some people just can do splits?

    anyone can do the splits if they really try

    like dont get me wrong im not saying that you dont try

    if the pain isnt excrusiation stay in the stretch for 2 minutes or as long as you can and if you do that everyday you will show some progress

  • @5thhorsemen668 I hope you dont expect to get a split after 1 use. It will take months using thisa machine but it will happen.

  • @5thhorsemen668 As she said, everybody can do the splits if they put the work in. You are right in thinking that muscles are thermo-elastic and therefore stretch further when hot but that doesn't mean that it allows an instant split. Each day try to go to the point where it is slightly painful but not agony and hold it for about 10 seconds (after about 6 seconds your muscles should relax a little and allow you to push further) then hold it for a further 20 seconds, rest and try again.

  • @system0Fhonor as much as you like just as long as your fully warmed up before you stretch and you know where your limits are :)

  • Say, just a few questions if I may.

    a) What was your flexibility like before starting to use this machine?

    b) How long did it take to progress to a box or side split?

    c) How often did you train using the machine and for what duration per session?

    And just out of interest what was your motivation? Martial arts or Dancing? (Although looking at your nickname and physique I am guessing ti would be the latter) Thanks!

    i am a dancer... have been since i was 4 :)

    my flexibility was kind of half flexible coz i tore my hamstrings and im just getting back into flexibility now.

    as long as you stretch regulary it doesnt take long to get into the splits

    i trained using the machine everyy second morning for about 10 minutes morning and night. the reason i dont do it every day is to give my muscles a rest on the days in between

  • @RipCord yes it really works and very well too. i use it everyday for around 10 minutes and it improves your flexibility greatly :)

  • Biiiitttcchhh, you could have at least grunted one time. Ive been trying for a couple of years to do that and the pain is to dam bad. and can't get passed 150 degs

  • one problem with this machine, you cant lean forward because of the god DAM WHEEL...

  • i only started owking on this today. i dont know where i got it from because it was my dad's and he gave it to me. i wasnt too flexible on it but i sit in it for about 5-10 minutes and when it stops hurting i wheel it out further and so on and so on
