I thought it was pretty cool . Unfortunate look at reality . I get the sense that a lot of viewers don't like seeing the ' ugly ' truth . The vids seem to be getting low ratings ... What is this guys point? That the free market leads to fascism? Or that liberalism started the great depression. It was protectionism ie the smoot hawley act.
Its socialist countries that are more authoritarian see Cuba North Korea and Communist Russia.
That was really hard to watch and was extremely well done. I assumed it was some sort of protest against the current US policies and administration. However, I also thought I might be watching something about Cuba at first. I'd like the director to explain what he meant by it, or did he want us to create our own meaning?
Well the ambiguity yes, because it is about time in a way The Same As Today. Its about a certain abuse of power. And in it are the voices of Hoover, Roosevelt, Johnson and Nixon all apologizing for abuses of power.
