The part of the video I liked best was someone tied Jar-Jar to the back of the float and they forgot about him and when the float took off the road smelled a little like filet-o-fish.
Unbelievable! Imperial officers, Ewoks and rebel pilots all marching together! And I could swear I saw an Imperial uniformed band member holding a green lightsaber! And wtf were those clones doing there???? And do I see a grown Anakin marching in front of Darth Maul with the old Obi-Wan behind them? Three different movies, people! And wtf were those sand people doing there, not to mention Jango Fett!
Its lots of different characters, but hardly anything worth getting freaked out about. The characters are all professional fans who were chosen for who had the best costumes in the country. They figured having a good costume was better than complaining about order or what character appeared where, and they were right. It about letting people see their favorites, screw what movie they came in.
And thats not a green lightsaber, its a marching baton.
@TheOnlineCommunity I don't mind the clones, at least they are at the back. I'm 501st, and I think the Clones should be in there. However, when the anchor said " The three queens of Naboo......." I think they've already insulted enough people here.......and Uncle George.
Put it this way, at least Jar Jar was not portrayed as the hero in this parade......

@seabrain1212 Agreed. I didn't get what they were on about when you saw Queen Amidala with Luminara and Aayla. The 'three queens of Naboo'?... Really?... Even without any knowledge of Star Wars, it doesn't take a genius to watch the films and realise Luminara and Aayla have nothing to do with Naboo's monarchy. I don't even think their names are mentioned in the films...

Unbelievable! Imperial officers, Ewoks and rebel pilots all marching together! And I could swear I saw an Imperial uniformed band member holding a green lightsaber! And wtf were those clones doing there???? And do I see a grown Anakin marching in front of Darth Maul with the old Obi-Wan behind them? Three different movies, people! And wtf were those sand people doing there, not to mention Jango Fett!

Its lots of different characters, but hardly anything worth getting freaked out about. The characters are all professional fans who were chosen for who had the best costumes in the country. They figured having a good costume was better than complaining about order or what character appeared where, and they were right. It about letting people see their favorites, screw what movie they came in.
And thats not a green lightsaber, its a marching baton.

@TheOnlineCommunity I don't mind the clones, at least they are at the back. I'm 501st, and I think the Clones should be in there. However, when the anchor said " The three queens of Naboo......." I think they've already insulted enough people here.......and Uncle George.
Put it this way, at least Jar Jar was not portrayed as the hero in this parade......
