  • Lol its like these are the words going on inside his head as he his talking to her, making the whole scene outright insulting and hilarious! 5/5

  • I wanna have a baby boy like stewie.

  • Typography, is a new, beautiful, type of art in my eyes, and should be recognized among those who use after effects or are interested in this new , state of, "flux", we call typography, this is a new era, or, age, into art, and should be shown on a large television screen, in somewhere such as, the Tate modern, a new era of art we call, "Typography"

  • This one of the better ones iv seen

  • What a concept. A small kid with a mature British accent, matricidal tendencies, and leviathan amounts of sarcasm.

  • It's kind of ironic that this also applies to Family Guy fans everywhere (myself included) who quote lines from the show out of context. Frankly it's rather shallow and pedantic.

  • this is perfect.

  • Great job

  • good fun

  • Interesting Typography thing. "You are the weakest link. Goodbye." I gotta be honest, I laughed at that too.

  • I really like this one. I like the graphic when he says the word "fresh" and I love the "titanic" visual of the word titanic. Very creative!

  • I laughed as the word "Titanic" broke into two pieces and sank... that was a nice touch.

  • ...clever girl.

  • It s fantastic! I really like this kind of short video! So creative, so well-designed. But I really want to know how to do this. So is there any tutorial on youtube?

  • This is GREAT.

  • tutorial please?

  • This is probably the best I've ever seen... the titanic was epic.

  • This is the best one I've seen today.

  • HA!

    Complete and total humiliation!

  • btw to inform you, Somebody stole this.

    watch?v=kaoWKTS37qo

  • @LalaDaDi Thanks for letting me know.

  • @KeyframeHolder your welcome.

  • How long did it take to make this? im looking into making one :)

  • @LalaDaDi It took me about 5 days including the story-boarding.

  • @KeyframeHolder Oh My gosh thats alot! well its worth it. This is amazing :)

  • That was amazing. It's like a Fox commercial but with the scene of Stewie pwning Olivia. I liked it when the word Titanic fell like a sinking boat. It would be cool to see a kinetic type commercial that just has "I'd love to stay and chat, but you're a total bitch. Watch Family Guy at 9:00."

  • that my friends is a burn.

  • lol. stewie can beat off any insult xD

  • @KeyframeHolder

    How you do 0:33?

    BTW, awesome work!

  • @TheDarkKnight04 Thank you!. I had the words placed perpendicular to the floor plane and the camera moving through them in 3D space.

  • @KeyframeHolder Oh, I see, thanks bro.

  • Still one of my favourite Typographies out there dude, great job! :)

  • very VERY good for a first attempt. i only wish mine turned out as good as this xD

  • Very Good dude, great timing on the jokes. (Well the whole thing is funny, but you're timing is great)

  • Looks like those FOX bumpers.

  • Hey nice work, flows really well! The variety of text intros is ace too.

  • Amazing. A+ for you good sir.

  • :o

  • 5 people are the weakest link, good bye!

  • best typography i've seen so far

  • It is true how boring some series are painful to watch, but people like it because they have added laughter after everything they say...

  • That was truly an own...or a pwn. I can't remember the difference. In the words of Bill S. Preston and Theodore Logan; "MOST EXCELLENT!"

  • Kudos, this is probably one of the most well done typography things I've seen!

  • This is so awesome, loving it mate. Pl make more

  • You're the weakest link, good bye! :'D

    EPIC

  • This makes me laugh every time. A good bit of dialogue for a great piece of Typography

  • This is a great typography i dont know much, other than watching far too many of these on youtube and this is the best by far

  • THIS IS AWESOME !

How do you make the lines on the letters extend like the "y" on G'Bye at 0:15 ??

  • @onlywaythe Once you typed your text, go to Layer>Create Shape From Text. That will create a new shape layer with the text's outline. Then you simply keyframe the position of the points.

  • that was pretty good.

  • This is fantastic mann

  • You. More. Make. Sentence. Yourself.

  • Funny shit, Stewie is so funny.

Espicially when he talks to brian about his alternate universe thingy

  • :O wow tht was amzing my fav was the titanic one :) were the word breaks and just sinks like the boat heheheh :) ur awesum at this do mooooooooooooore!

  • is there a tutorial for this

  • @KjaersgaardGaming

Yes. There are some tutorials floating around online. Unfortunately YouTube does not let me paste the URL here.

  • Well done!

  • Wow very inspirational for me as a typographical artist. Love the use of DoF and the subtle camera shakes. Great use of 3d as well, not overdone.

Christmas colors kind of threw me off near the end, but that's about it.

  • @SeraphsWitness : Thank you for the comment. I tried to use contrasting colors in a playful way. Red and green just happen to be opposites on the color wheel and as a result there is a strong contrast between them. I did not have Xmas in mind (at all) when designing this :)

  • @KeyframeHolder Yea I figured, and I do like the contrast colors. I just think red and green are so emotionally charged with the thought of Christmas (for me, at least) that it distracted me a little.

Other than that, really great work. I'm going to take some ideas from this and apply it to my next piece.

  • ugh. you are so good at this! mine sucks. how are you doing it. that's a way to ask. how. do you do it? I don't mind paragraph form. XD please! YOU SHOULD MAKE A TUTORIAL!

  • @catchytitles use after effects, crate a background, make it really big than write your text in cool ways (use different colours and fonts) than make all those text layers match the audio and make them all a 3d layer so that when you use the camera layer it will adjust the perspective in which you view the text.

  • Bravo, bravo!

  • who can tell me how it is done?

  • lol awesome =D

  • Love it, all of it, except the "cos I'm here!" bit at the end. Otherwise, it's perfect, especially the colour scheme.

  • Pretty cool for a first attempt! Well done!

  • one of the better typographies around. I hate the ones that are linear and just side to side. This one felt like going on a trip, very detailed. Good job.

  • first attempt ? THIS WAS. INCREDIBLY DETAILED. AMAZING.

  • Nice!

  • This is just absolutely brilliant. Could you put up a tutorial on this, please?

  • HAHAHA i love this.

  • This is one of my favorite scenes from Family Guy. I love you!

  • @ParLucius Thank you!

  • @ParLucius haha, what episode is this from?!

  • cool

  • This was very well done! Lots of nice effects you used—especially going back when he seemed to stutter as well as the multiple "and's."

  • love it!!!

  • what Season and episode is this ?

  • @scrawler06 I think it belongs to episode 18 of season 3 called "From Method to Madness"

  • stewie is untouchable

  • very well done!

  • as said, this was genius. The stuttering makes it gold.

  • Awesome! I <3 how hes peeking through at the end, "I'm here" part.

  • Sick. you are good.

Very few things like this that I watch the whole thing.

    After effects rocks.

  • Perfect use of Kinetic Text... bravo

  • hammer :)

  • nice

  • The titanic part was sick!

  • TYPOGRAPHY MAKES EVERYTHING EPIC

  • This is really good for your first attempt! In fact, I don't believe you. :)

  • very good typography!

  • The best kenetic type I have seen. Nice Work.

  • this is amazing, and the quote is just hilarious...

  • do you think you could make some kind of guide, written or video tutorial on how to do a typography like this, or something simple. i want to start making them. god knows ive tried. but i cant do anything D:

  • Very well done!

  • AWESOME!

  • what an amazing job, I just love everything about it, congratulations!!!!

  • ARE YOU SURE THIS IS YOUR FIRST TRY?

    extraordinary vid good job :D

  • Awesome-I watched it over and over again. Very nice job, extremely well done! Definately one of the nicest kinetic typos out there :)

  • titantic part was bad ass.

  • Perfection

  • This is just perfect. You've taken one of the funniest pieces of Stewie dialogue and done it justice in this format. It's weirdly as, if not more engaging than the footage itself. I've watched it many times. Ironically I can't find a better word to describe it than 'fresh' =)

  • This one is so great. The pacing of the audio is perfect. And using his stuttering or repeated words is great. I can't get over this one. And I LOVE the "mmm, and so fresh too" lol. Just perfect combination, and a great end as well. LOVE IT.

  • Thank you so much! :)

  • GREAT great job. This goes beyond kinetic typography and you get into the metalevels without being overwhelming or overbearing. And I love LOVE your timing and how his speed works with the pacing. Just great. I wish I could do this :) :)

  • that was brilliant

  • It's at times like these when i don't know if Stewie is sarcastic or real

  • i litterally LAUGHED OUT LOUD. i just discovered this shit today and i am LOVIN' it. this is the like 5th or 6th video i have watched and its great. this is the BEST 1 iv seen so far

  • One of the better kinetic typographies out there. 5/5

  • LMAO, that titanic bit was really creative :)

  • This is solid man, it looks amazing

  • i LOVE stewie :)

  • very very very good. i watch so many of these, and this is definitely the best (only not my favorite because of what he's saying, but that isn't criticism, just personal opinion)

  • this actually made the dialogue funnier! Thanks!

  • I like the titanic bit.

  • That's excellent work. Can you remember any of the tutorials you used? I can't find anything of that nature. Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • that reminds me to 'the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy'

  • ahaha, really good stuff.

  • Hahaha excellent

  • 10 on 10

  • seriously? this was your first attempt? where did you learn that?

  • I was taking a course @ School of Visual Arts (in NY) at the moment. Also, there are lots of tutorials online that helped me a lot.

  • Reinfeld?

  • Nope. Meyers.

  • im so jealous... -_- '

  • Do you use cs3 after effects?

  • Yes! I used After Effects CS3.

  • excelenteee!!!!!!

  • mhhh! and so fresh too! Hahah lol

  • That's awesome!!!!!!

  • haha this is really good!

  • This is a really good one, Great Job!

  • this was your first? very nice

  • great job!

  • really good job i like this style of video

  • I love the titanic going down....that was really creative. And nice job on keeping the classic Family Guy Stuttering.

  • loves it

  • keyframeholder, im begging you, make a tutorial please!!! im looking everywhere on how to do kinetic typography like this and i cant find it anywhere!!!

  • i love how you even show his stuttering

  • Fantastic!

  • that one was really good

  • Thank you! If I remember correctly I used Helvetica Condensed Bold for the most part.

  • Really great work.

I love your use of color and negative space to force the "eye to listen":)

    Keep it up!

  • Your first attempt is pretty good. Keep up the good work.

  • stewie has quite the etansive vocabulary for such a youthful homosapien.

  • @pikminfan1998 That's because he's a Thinking Man.

  • Solid. Great stuff!

  • Best i've seen on youtube!

    ABSOLUTELY AMAZING :D

  • awesome tipography waitin for more ;)

  • looool nice man!!!

  • Oh wow, I've been watching these vids for the past two days, and I must say, this is one of the best.

So good. The flow is very natural and works with the lines.

I've been watching these, just gathering visual research, as I'll be trying this before too long.

    Wish me luck.

    Again. SIMPLY BRILLIANT!!

  • Thanks man! Just have fun with it and let us know when it's finished :-) And again thank you everyone else for the feedback.

  • Thats was very well done.

  • For a first attempt, or any attempt for that matter, it was excellent.

  • your camera movement and text planning are so perfect! great job on placement/movement on every phrase, makes every bit work really well. just awesome *thumbs up* and hilarious

  • This could so be on FX as a advert for a new series of Family Guy... And i know Family Guy gets its first airing on BBC Three in the UK but BBC Three are too gay for an advert like this lol. i give it a 10/10 well done i was entertained all the way thro it sooooo works good job. Stewie would be proud.

  • nice dude, how long did this take?

  • Thanks! It took me about a week working on my spare time.

  • Absolutely incredible, dude. Really great.

Did you do this on your own, or did you work off of a tutorial? If did worked off of a tutorial, could I have the link? I want to do this myself.

  • Thank you! I did it on my own, based on an After Effects course I was taking at School of Visual Arts. But I am sure there are tons of tutorials for kinetic type floating around.

  • i love the way the writers take his sarcasm to the nth degree

  • very nice camera work, the whole thing is great

  • And he totally disarms her. That's great.

  • This is beautiful and stinkin funny! The blurring element, although subtle, makes it so great. I love it.

  • wow this is very well thought out animation. Did you storyboard this before you started?

  • Thank you! Yes, I did storyboard it.

  • Stewie such a bitch, I love it!

    XD
