  • Thanks a huge ton, Gavin. You are a wonderful person, artist and a teacher.

  • Thanks again. Another great tutorial.

  • u said merge visible u just have to merge the layers.

  • couldnt you just have done this using layer styles..?

  • glitch!

  • 1:05 - 1:10 how?

  • Is there a way to do this in Elements 6?

  • you are the best teacher ever.. you help me a lot... thank you so much master!

  • Brilliant tip!

  • Once again great tutorial Gavin... Thanks

  • You rock dude, keep the good work up!

  • Does anyone know if this technique works in elements 2, or is it just me not using it correctly?

  • It doesn't work (ctrl+Alt+shift+T) in element 3 so I think will not work in elements 2

  • But you can Ctrl+J to duplicate layer and quickly press the arrow buttons - only marginally slower and a bit easier on hte fingers

  • Hax

  • Awesome tutorial Gavin

Thanks so much for your golden tips

Your all tips & tutorials are valuable for us

    please keep them coming

    God bless you :-)

  • Why not just use a Inner Shadow, and tweak the settings?

-55 for the angle, and then about 15 for the distance. Of course, change it to your liking. But this works just as well in my opinion. And its better for file size.

  • Merge only the black layers and use that for the texture.

  • Simple but important.. thanks gavin
