jennifer batten is another female shredder, but, she uses tapping to produce fast licks. i'm glad that she doesn't tap - no shortcuts or tricks to emulate speed.

in this video, she is clearly the better lead player. i'd like to see her develop more individual melodic playing (or see more evidence of it) instead of just playing the fast scales.

she's so much more pleasant to look at than yngwie or satriani. she's almost as pretty as the chick from extreme... :)

Ummm dude... Im 15 and my 16 year old friend can play Eruption Flawlessly. So I don't get how she will never be as good as EVH. Beacuse she sounds a little better than him. EVH is a GREAT guitarist but he's (in my opinion) not the best. And for alot of people out there, EVH did NOT invent tapping, he just made it popularand used it well.
