Many cases of abortion are not just because of some irresponsible person saying "eh.... i changed my mind." it could be medical conditions, maybe something came up in life that made this person unable to take care of the child, and sometimes adoption just isn't a good choice. Some mothers might end up having a child with a birth defect and just cant handle raising that child (down syndrome, etc) and cases of rape as well.
Taking the choice for people to make on their own decision away will only lead to "backyard abortion clinics" popping up & result in numerous deaths of BOTH women & fetuses.

For one, it would be a constant reminded of her attacker. It would have the attackers genetic features. That's something that would be enough to send me insane. A fetus isn't really alive. It's like someone in a coma. They're living of life support machines and the fetus is living off the mother.

ok im against abortion, but i honestly think they shoulda stopped after a while. at first...maybe....but then later on they shoulda stopped. i mean, obama woulda been more likely 2 at least slightly agree with them if they had stopped

Most criminals, gang members, low income, ect.. people that are below poverty level were unwanted pregnacies. Why should hard working tax payers have to pay to raise these peoples children? not having an abortion does NO GOOD for these people. The mother gets deprived of an opportunity for a good education and loses her whole life, resulting in a child going hungry, growing up in the ghetto, and then the cycle continues. We kill GROWN people at war, but that is legal.

Well said Greentractorboy, Heres to all the yunguns here who think human life doesnt matter, that "a womans right to choose" because of a Supreme court decision in 1973. And they never watched the real video like I did in school of the barbaric procedures that doctors use to end the pregnency, chop off the body parts, n torso, empty vaccum and throw fetus parts in a special dumpster. And the Post traumatic stress that women get from late term abortions. Why is this?

This is all about the sanctity of human life, people. Human life is PRECIOUS. I don't care if it's in the mother's womb, living on the earth, or about to breathe their last breath. From conception ... to birth ... to living ... to death ... ALL LIFE is to be respected, and ALL LIVING BEINGS have the right to live. Abortion effectively takes away that right. Euthanasia and Capital Punishment take away that right as well.
That's why I'm pro-life - not just in the context of abortion.

@0001perric Euthanasia and Capital Punishment? If this is done on a murderer, then let them have it. Why should they still have the 'right' to live when they just ended it for someone else. As for human life being 'precious' its as precious as the person makes it, All animal and plant life is precious but we kill them anyway. It's so naturally PRECIOUS that many human life become murderers, rapists, drug addicts, etc. Yeah... precious.

Argue all you like Rosalita, the main point is that I'm trying to get across is, take responsibility for YOUR OWN actions when it comes to sexual promiscuity.
I don't totally agree with abortion, and I certainly don't agree with taking away someones rights to choose.
Abortion, in my book, is an ultimate LAST RESORT, IF you have a legitimate reason for not being able to raise the child throughout its life or if a medical condition poses a threat to both the woman & fetus.

@mozzy72 I completely agree with you. Many cases of abortion are not just because of some irresponsible person saying "eh.... i changed my mind." it could be medical conditions, maybe something came up in life that made this person unable to take care of the child, and sometimes adoption just isn't a good choice. Some mothers might end up having a child with a birth defect and just cant handle raising that child (down syndrome, etc) and cases of rape as well.

Taking the choice for people to make on their own decision away will only lead to "backyard abortion clinics" popping up & result in numerous deaths of BOTH women & fetuses.
At least in a controlled environment unneccessary deaths can be avoided.
