I read somewhere that Lotor won't be in the movie at all. I don't know if that's true,I hope not. I think Lotor is a wonderful and complex character that needs more attention. The movie would suck without him.

I heard there is gonna be a Voltron movie scheduled for 2010. I wish they include the love story between Lotor and Allura in it. Like, he could get better bcoz of her and she will start to fall in love with him(after some initial resistance). That would be so romantic and sexy ;) Don't you think?

In the Japanese version, it's because Allura looks so much like his mother that Lotor wants to marry her.  In the English version, he at first wants to maary her to rule her planet without having to battle, but beins to truly have feelings for her.

It seems as though Lotor has an Oedipus complex, doesn't he? Allura reminds Lotor of what he lost, and wants to reclaim what was taken from him so long ago.

Not saying Lotor doesn't love Allura. Just pointing out the pyschology behind his obsession with Allura.

There was some evidence that Lotor could've had feelings for Lotor, but she kept them hidden instead of being open. Anytime his name was mentioned or he was around, she would sigh or just have that expression on her face.

An interesting video. There was never any evidence of a Lotor/Allura romance in either Voltron: Defender of the Universe or GoLion. I noticed you used clips of Allura that were often from scenes that were intended as indications of the Allura/Keith romance as well as images of Lotor's mother, Romelle, and Princess Coral (sp?).
