i believe hes using the e minor scale but hes only using the pentatonic form to it, at least at the beginning of the song.

if hes using a certain mode of eminor than that might be, but from what i hear it sounds like e minor.

right now hes probably using the same tuning as we know as standard, hes just playing a weird scale (at least for the second song) the tunings would be the same, just the way they form scales. and most eastern music dont follow chord progressions either, but im pretty sure the first song is based around eminor in standard tuning and he has the capo on for open string effect
