That's the version I'm most familiar with so that could be where I heard it. Or maybe I'm just getting old and imagined the whole thing. Scary thought, that ;)
I couldn't find the ya ya's version but I found one from '69...thanks, I feel better ;)
In the 60's there was an "exodus" of teens. They left home in droves, many of them runaways leaving behind disfunctional family. There were many adults quite willing to exploit them by whatever means possible. This song is about a 15 year old runaway who falls into the clutches of a man quite willing to provide the "feast upstairs" if she will provide the sex. The part about the no capitol crime-no hanging matter probably refers to lax laws at that time regarding statutory rape. Yea...
@injoeda Devon Wilson said that Mick Jagger wrote this song about a girl who actually called him to thank him for doing so. He was shocked that she recognized the song was about her. So yeah, it's really just about Mick having sex with a teenage girl. Pretty sweet interpretation though xD.
@chrisjohnfan Their Satanic Majesties Request was their answer to Sgt. Peppers. This was just pure rock and roll when everyone else was tripping balls.
@MrNatesnumberone He mean's that many think of the Beatles' masterpiece to be Sgt Pepper. He's referring as if this is the Stones' masterpiece; not literally talking sound.
@chrisjohnfan I thought Satanic Majesties Request was there one up to that one. I would say, White album. Love the Jones years, but Mic Taylor years were just Great. There will never be 4 ROCK albums like they put out after this!
the sexiest song ever !

My Ex-Wife's momma didn't know she could bite like that either. And she was 18, not 15.

Anyone ever noticed you can tell a '68 movie or recording sometimes? Something about that year. I was born then, so I have something about it.

i played this on my ipod from a "sacd" ('digitally remastered') MP3/CDand I noticed that
before the end, the master tape is mangled, then the song goes to mono for all the main instruments except for the overdubs!!!
