Its not hard to make this car look good. You can polish it with a turd and it will look gat. how much do these morons give you for basically doing nothing.
i dont get it, this is a brand new car ..why would it need all that, i thought they use computers to see imperfections..everything has to be perfect before its sold right?
Amazing work, i can see how much difference you make. it must look even better in HD ..and even more awesome in real life.
I guess once someone gives their supercar to you, it must be very difficulty to wash it , clean it themselves ..that paranoid thought will be there all the time ..like what if im wrecking the paint lol
@msp5a3 yeah you can. I use a light compound and a glaze all the time to do it. It restores them pretty well. although if you want it perfect you need to take it off most likely and do wet sanding or whatever you like to do.
when cars are being shipped from place to place, all sorts of imperfections get embedded in the paint. If you run your hand down a brand new car, you can still feel something under your hand.
I understand what you are saying. But what I was mainly asking is if you are not polishing with any specific pattern (just kind of moving in various directions) do you find that this type of movements does not leave swirls? Many people believe in polishing in whats called a backwards e or sometimes a figure 8 to avoid swirl marks. But i didnt notice you doing either. I mainly use the same products you do but it is very hot where i work (95 to 105 degrees) and this gives me a challenge.
nice work paul. I noticed you dont have any special pattern to your buffing. No backwards E. What do you do to avoid the swirl marks from coming back after a few washes? Also what type of pads are you polishing with? Chemical Guys I think.

Very few new cars are perfect under the intense lighting that I use. I can usually find something wrong with every new car that I see.
Take a look at the new black Aston DB9 that I detailed (see under my videos), that car was straight from the factory!!

Hi Paul, I'm very impressed with your work. I just want to ask, can you buff out the scratches from the plastic covers of the lights? Thank you.

I never have Swirl marks come back after washes, if my clients follow my washing procedures, then the paintwork will stay perfect 100%.

Swirl marks will only re-appear with improper technique and the use of products with 'fillers'.
Sometimes, the use of certain polishes will fill only if the paint hasn't been corrected 100% (this is where technique comes into play).

I'm going to start detailing car's myself I hope to be as good as you are.Got any tip's
