I've been looking into this guitar, but I've one wierd question: how does the cable jack feel to you being on the rop as opposed to the side. Is it wierd to plug in, do you notice it, etc.
@lokboxx I think the best way to deal with it is to probably get a cable jack shaped in an L-form. That way it doesn't interfere with your super-happy-guitar-funtime.

hey... what do you think about the finish?... does it dent easily?.. i've heard gloss finishes are stronger... i'm really GASin this guitar but i don't want to buy it if it's more sensitive than a strats gloss finish... what do you think about it?
@WithinTheseEyes I used to play strats a lot and I played them rediculously low, so I nearly had to bend down to play the fucker! I know play SG's at just under chest height. It's weird how things change!
@almostblind21 sorry, but this guitar is £200, its not really going to be top quality. your best bet is to take it to a tech, get him to put proper electronics and tuners on it, and be happy :D
@almostblind21 mine stays in tune. maybe yours is kept in a hot environment? the strings will go out of tune if so. or maybe you keep bumping the tuning heads. or get better tuning heads.
I have the same guitar and I need to say it's a great deal!
It's great for classic rock, classic punkrock and blues with the alnicos.
I play 77punk with some bluesy influences so I havent changed the pic's yet, but suppose it would be good even for Metal with another kit. It's easy to play fast on the neck.
Mine is coming next week! after waiting for about 4,5 months

dude i have this same guitar, i got it in april. do you still have it?
its been awhile since nov 1 2009.
i have a lot of problems with it. with electrical and output jacks and tuning. it wont stay in tune for my life.
