Saint Nicholas was burn in a region that belongs today to Turkey (in Patara and lived in Demre) but he was not a Turc. Actually Turcs become to that region only several hundreds of years after his death
It would be very interesting to visit these place were the real Saint Nicholas lived in some 300 Anno Domini (Patara, Myra, etc. which today are part of Turkey but which in that time was part of romain empire apparently with greece population )
