  • Well as you can read, this not music appreciation for the not so hip whom are still hopping around.?

  • Nice song too bad they were into witchcraft and sorcery. Lets not forget the Lord of all including the elements. His name is Jesus Christ, and he cares for you my friends.

  • Fuck VH1,but then you have to know who they are and what they REALY represent, but as long as WE know where the Elements rank is all that matter...PEACEU.. ;-]

  • So rite you are. I'm 43 years old and my mother brought this album when it first came out. I am very grateful she knew what great music was. God rest her soul and I and my sister have her albums today. PEACE!

  • Its a shame. 83 out of 100. Fuck that . They are #1

  • Love it

  • i love this band sooo much they fused so many music genere togather it is insane to me that i never heard this before

  • Hello out there !!!!??? Talent!????? Listen, if you can still hear me, please create music like this again.....i'm tired of angry, yelling, hoppin' around, disillusioned rap. Speak to me...you're not dead are you?

sniff, ......he was a good man....

  • @btinsley1 LMAO thats priceless

  • Can you believe VH1 ranked them 83rd out of the 100 greatest artists????!!! That's a damn hate crime!

  • @ricisrock We ALL know that's not true. They should stick with C-List rehab and Former 80"s icon hook up shows.....

  • @ricisrock

Not only that, but damn ignorant also. More likely than not VH1 probably couldn't understand the meaning of the music nor the lyrics to the songs. EWF is too deep for many today. They just can't wrap their heads around the message Maurice White, Charles Stephney, Phillip Bailey, and Ramsey Lewis was trying to get across the universe to them. Many hear, but do not listen.

  • @ricisrock straight bullsheeyat

  • @ricisrock Bump a VH1. Bunch of idiots. What the hell is their criteria anyways?

  • To all who are listening to this song. I have dedicated an adventure of human struggle to this and many other EWF songs. Check out Planet Zanzibar. It is available at online bookstores.

  • god this is awesome

  • Ahh, the Caribou Ranch. Great bands came there to make albums like Chicago, Return To Forever, War and of course, Earth, Wind & Fire. This song makes me wanna dance up a storm! Thank you!!

  • One of my favorite EWF tunes. It just takes you away to another place and has you soaring.

  • Caribou is as good as any contemporary jazz tune released in '74. I was hoping back then that EWF would go more in this direction, but I guess they were destined for bigger (but not necessarily better)things.

  • This song make me smile. The way music should.

  • AWESOME SONG. I've always love this song. Great music and wonderful harmony. Thanks for posting.

  • The song is about the joy of living. Our parents never realized how much Earth Wind & Fire contributed to making us good citizens. This is edifying music. I really feel for my children today. They have Soulja Boy and Lil Wayne. We had THE ELEMENTS OF THE UNIVERSE.

  • @Brilliantbeing - Could not have said it any better!

  • i love this song.......but what is this song about????

  • There are no lyrics. What are you talking about?????

  • in the chorus????

  • EWF recorded this album in 1974 in Colorado...they're singing about the Caribou.

Caribou: any of several large, North American deer of the genus Rangifer, related to the reindeer of the Old World.

  • @shydmples THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

  • not a problem

  • This song is so ridiculously awesome in pretty much every way.

  • THANK YOU! AH! MY SONG!
