i use R U’ R’ U’ R U R D R’ U’ R D’ R’ U2 R’ U’ for the second one you showed i find it is alot smother than the mirror of R' U2 R U2 R' F R U R' U F' R2 even though i am left handed lol
what I've found that is actually somewhat easier for me is doing a x' before doing PLL so the what would normally be U is now F, seems to be a lot less B's and D's =\
Thanks, that alg is the first one I've seen with a B, I understand the notation but one question. What are the brackets for? It's probably really obvious ^^

it way smother than the mirror of the R' U2 R U2 R' F R U R' U F' R2 try it

For the R (a) perm--the second one you showed--I find that using
y2 R U2 R' U2 R B' R' U' R U R B R2 U
works much better for me, rather than the mirror of R' U2 R U2 R' F R U R' U F' R2 U just because I suck with with my left hand :P

There is a mistake..it's (R F) not (R F')
cuz you do this!
Chi44fun 2 years ago
I don't see it. I just did it and it worked out okay.

R' U2 R U2 R' F R U R' U' R' F' R2 U' works better for me... anyway its personal preference, and i personally dont like Bs too much

i have 10 times better algs for this :)

SO..what are they???
Chi44fun 2 years ago
i recognized all your PLLs in a day... thanks to your video...

The R B R2 can be executed l U R2 thats nicer.

These are what I call 'Trigger Finger' and 'Southpaw's Trigger Finger'. If you don't know why, you havn't performed the algorithm up to speed.
The algorithm I use is:
R' U2 R U2 R' F R U R' U' R' F' R2 U'
(and it's mirror)
Try that one if you don't like this one. I find the execution of it is wicked smooth. :)

OMG. I switched to that algorithm right after posting these videos. I've been using this ALG for about 5 months. Thanks for the info though.
dudemanpp 4 years ago
I use those algs for the R too. They're so much easier to perform.

what's the mirror?
yaya2295 4 years ago
to mirror an alg make all clockwise motions CCW and vice versa, also make all R's L's. and L's R's
birdman3631 3 years ago
I learned that one too but my left hand sucks so I leared his for Ra. Would the mirror be better?
birdman3631 3 years ago
Whichever is more comfortable is your best bet, in most cases.

what does the parantheses mean?
Tomron1231 3 years ago
Not much. You can ignore them and it will be the same thing.
LanceTheBlueKnight 3 years ago
The parentheses help u remember a part of the algorithm by using a smaller algorithm like R U Ri Ui
xChAnG1996 3 years ago
so hard.. can u think of something that using only less and constant alg until using a final alg. that will solve a the cube? .
topeks123 4 years ago
I don't understand what you mean.
dudemanpp 4 years ago
ughh this is sooooo hard
emo182kidd 4 years ago
You mean the notation? Yeah it's kind of hard to understand. I think I'll make a different video with a better alg.
dudemanpp 4 years ago
a lot of times before my pll i endup with a 2x2x2 block already correct in one corner
DonZofDclan 4 years ago
Thats a two by one block and the pll is either a CCW or CW corner cycle or V perm

is B the back?
JonnyDaLegend 4 years ago
Yes. If you have trouble with the notation try to do what I do on the screen.
dudemanpp 4 years ago
Thanks, that alg is the first one I've seen with a B, I understand the notation but one question. What are the brackets for? It's probably really obvious ^^
JonnyDaLegend 4 years ago
Those are moves that I do on one swift motion. They help when trying to figure out finger tricks.
dudemanpp 4 years ago
I thought that might be it because they were often (R U) and they're easy to do when one is after the other.
