Jesuse he looks hot in the interview portions! I see everyone commenting how bad they feel for Rob and how he probably wants to off himself. I know he probably has his moments, I think any human being in that position would, but that's one of the wonderful things about Rob...he really is a gentleman from what I can see at least. He doesn't get that he embodies Edward...or perhaps Edward embodies him.

teen boys now a days wont even give a seat on the bus to a pregnet woman or a elderly person when i was in my 3rd trimester i gave my seat to am elderly man and the teens on the bus would never give up ther seats for me

After all this commotion with Twilight, I just had to see True blood series once more. Yeah, they're totally different, but both are great in their own way. In Twilight it's more like about true love and restraining oneself from doing the obvious, but dangerous, things. True blood is more hard core and, to be honest, seems more realistic. Love the both concepts, anyways.

I agree that Anne Rice is the mother of vampire literature. Her stories came before Steph so it only makes sense. They're stories are very different too. Anne's are the traditional vampires. They are both awesome, I love them both. I adore Rob too. He is so amazing. :D
Anne Rice's vampires like my favorite one Lestat are gorgeous also, well, in a turn of the century gorgeous kind of way. Even thought Rice's books are quite difficult to read with its very deep and profound literary flesh, its very good. I love her book "The Tale of the Body Thief". Way Cool! Check out Linsay Sands novel about Vampires very good author also!

They are only talking about Twilight, remember. It's the best example because they are waiting for love and commitment before intimacy. Bella even talks about that in the last book, on her honeymoon - that she couldn't imagine having to do this with anyone with whom she had less than a full commitment. It's the ideal.

Also in agreement with you regarding the "teenybopper" appeal of these books; I'm in my early 30's, happily married with a son, and consider myself to be well-read in a variety of different subject matter. I fully appreciate these books for how they're written - so often you find underdeveloped characters and overblown plot-lines... but not here. And, of course, as you said... it doesn't hurt to have sweet Robert Pattinson to admire.
He easily makes every single girl who watches the movie or reads the books fall head over heals in love with him, he's doing my head in to be honest, I can't help but want to stalk him;), but I won't simply 'cause Australia is too far away:P

It's like what Rob said--the fans put so much emotional stock into the books that the love was transferred, along with the story, to the big screen. They love Edward Cullen (stalkerish as he may be), ergo, they love Robert Pattinson because he is, in Hollywoodland, Edward himself. He made the character live outside their dogeared pages, and that's why they "confuse" the two.

True Blood is actually really good...just not as good as Twilight. it does have the whole "mind-reading" thing except the human girl can read minds && cant read the vampire guys.

I agree that Anne Rice is the mother of vampire literature. Her stories came before Steph so it only makes sense. They're stories are very different too. Anne's are the traditional vampires. They are both awesome, I love them both. I adore Rob too. He is so amazing. :D

Anne Rice's vampires like my favorite one Lestat are gorgeous also, well, in a turn of the century gorgeous kind of way. Even thought Rice's books are quite difficult to read with its very deep and profound literary flesh, its very good. I love her book "The Tale of the Body Thief". Way Cool! Check out Linsay Sands novel about Vampires very good author also!

They are only talking about Twilight, remember. It's the best example because they are waiting for love and commitment before intimacy. Bella even talks about that in the last book, on her honeymoon - that she couldn't imagine having to do this with anyone with whom she had less than a full commitment. It's the ideal.

Also in agreement with you regarding the "teenybopper" appeal of these books; I'm in my early 30's, happily married with a son, and consider myself to be well-read in a variety of different subject matter. I fully appreciate these books for how they're written - so often you find underdeveloped characters and overblown plot-lines... but not here. And, of course, as you said... it doesn't hurt to have sweet Robert Pattinson to admire.

Haha--my sentiments exactly. However, I wouldn't have put it quite so bluntly, and, ladies, I believe some of you do read. It's like what Rob said--the fans put so much emotional stock into the books that the love was transferred, along with the story, to the big screen. They love Edward Cullen (stalkerish as he may be), ergo, they love Robert Pattinson because he is, in Hollywoodland, Edward himself. He made the character live outside their dogeared pages, and that's why they "confuse" the two.
