Actually, Iscar & Ingersoll are into the same group, they are both owned by the same company. I am not aware of the problem you had or never heard about it from any customer, maybe a bad screw production? after 6 months, it happened again?
Ingersoll is scamming it's customers by shipping out inferior insert screws. The screws break at the neck causing insert loss and tool damage. This forces the customer to buy more inserts and tooling. As far as I can tell, this started about 6 months ago. We ran the same jobs with the same tooling and programming and materials fine for years. Then about 6 months ago we noticed significant tooling loss and were able to trace it to the new screws. We are replacing ingersoll with iscar now.
Looks like it's cutting through butter:)

Maybe you could call new screws from Iscar for your Ingersoll holders. I heard Ingersoll and Iscar are in the same team.
