@angiekaulitz1989 You will get better. It's hard to get through, but as long as you exercise your facial muscles and laugh a lot you'll get through it faster. (:
fuck, ur soo fuckin uck, i got it when i was 5 qnd now im 15 and i still have it. not many people know unless i do a big smiile or laugh, i fuckin hate it..ur luckyyy :/
@jaqua524 I went outside in the wintertime and the cold caused a nerve in my jaw to lock up and it stayed that way when I went to bed. I woke up with it paralyzed on the right half on my face.
Geez you're a pretty girl. I also admire your strength of spirit to post this video. I'm sure it is helpful to other folks with BP out there. I just got it myself last week and I'm struggling with doubts about self-image and how friends and family react to me. My journey is just beginning.
I went out the other day, I thought at 51 degrees I would be ok but the 51 felt like a cold 30 and my face felt like someone was holding ice cubes on it. I hated the summer because I couldn't show my face in comfort now with winter aproaching I'm afraid that the cold will hinder my improvements. What can you do, just grin and bare it I suppose. Thank you for responding.
You're soooo pretty Bells Palsy or not. I can tell you have bells because I've had it for 5 months now. I'm improving, I'd say I'm 70% hopefully I'll recover fully. What changes have you experienced over the 5 year period, have you had reoccurrences of the disease or just a slow recovery in general.
I haven't really experienced any changes other than slow recovery. On really cold days it's still affected more than it would be on a hot day, but other than that people claim not to notice it. either they forget or don't care.
@burnXliesX I laughed it off a lot, and I just worked the muscles on that side of my face to make them stronger. Back then kids were a little more mean and less understanding than they are now, so it was hard for me then, but if you just joke about it and find people that make you smile and laugh you'll get better.
how is ur ear doing on the affected side? I dunno if mine recovered fully:( i get a ringing sound every now and then..when I tried to breath hard or eat..gets annoying sometimes? Do u feel that too?
Because it was affected, I have a higher risk of getting ear infections and swimmer's ear (which I've gotten recently) because there is something in your ear that doesn't work when the nerve is paralyzed. It could also be an ear problem, you should get it checked out if it's ringing, but it's normal when you eat, chew gum, or get on a plane for it to hurt.
OMG :( :( U had the serious case of it:((( my god:( that lasted a long time...but u recovered hon :)
I went thru this friggin crap last yr. :( it wasn't very pleasant at all. Some cases take upto a year to recover...and in some case you don't recover completely! So i am so thrilled with my results:( When i first woke up with it..I was horrified ..:( I didn't even know this CRAP of a condition existed :( so I went to the doc two days after:( ;( :( bad bad cuz I should've gone the day i got it:(
I was just diagnosed with this crap today... I was happy to learn I will be able to recover. I still have alot of movement in my left side but, it's going to get better hopefully. :)
Well you look great to say you had the BP condition - have been in contact with loads of people suffering with BP (including myself) and found some great friends. all the best gaza
hey, try some neck yoga. look towards you're left ear, look towards you're right year. feel the stretch. hope it helps

@jaqua524 I'm 99% recovered, I can never be 100% recovered unless I have surgery on those parts of my face.
