Exact same Tv i have, i rushed into this buy and i've been searching around, just need you to confirm something, the UN46B8000 is LCD and LED backlit and the UN50B8000 is Plasma and LED backlit correct? I don't know much so if anyone could just correct me if im wrong, and is this tv (UN46B8000) subject to burn-in? Thanks in advance!

@cryfaux So at first i was like no way.....until i found the articles containing three mounts that are on voluntary recall. Apparently there has been an issue with the elbow slipping and peoples tv's falling off the wall. While my TV is only 37lbs and im not afraid of it slippin, im definitely taking advantage of this opportunity to snag a replacement.....better safe than sorry! Thanks man!
Have you ever had any clouding or flashlight issues with this tv? Reason I ask is I want to purchase this tv but have heard some people having these issues? Please lmk thanks
@moderatorhater Hey whats up man took me some time to get back to you. I wont lie to you i had some issues with my tv, more than usual. And i wanna say that was partly due to the shop that attempted to fix it, and also to samsung and the parts they sent me. Clouding did occur on my TV after a new hdmi board was installed. And i had some other issues involving the 3d, as well as my tv thinking it was a UN55C7000....samsung sent me a replacement though (after 70 days of grief)
@blackiechan88 so is the new tv good? no clouding? I actually purchased one and it had a cloud in one spot that was always there. But it did finally go away on its own and the tv looks good as new now. I haven't tried out my 3d yet. What was wrong with your 3d?
my friend i look at this tv and i think WOW its look's amazing looking but dude did u see the newer samsung led 8000 seires for 2011 ddue the bezel is .2mm thin it's alll tv screen so take a look at it just look for samsung LED D8000 ITS AMAZING REALLY AMAZING.

Hell yeah i saw the D8000! holy moly, and the touch screen remote, they shrunk it down to the size of a cell phone, and it ships with every model! i cant wait to snag this tv, i put my old one on craigslist the second i watched videos from CES. I want the 55" model but ill have to see how much more it is than the 46....
@blackiechan88 i reallllly want to get eather a 55 or a 60 inch i did my tax's so that sould help me out a tons this year i am geting back alot and with the money i make at my job i sould be good i will wait a little bit tho because i wan to stock up on a ton of cash before i go spending it alll lol my plan is this if the tv cost 3000 or more then my goal is to get another 3000 or more then buy the tv so it wont feel like i spent all my money lol
reallly nice tv i wanted to get this modle in a 55 inch BUT i am waiting because of many resons but still this is a very very very very good tv for 2d video 3d is cool on it but to me i think it could be better ,the reson for this comment tho is i too have a sanus mount too i hav the LL22 low profile mount its 1.50 mm to the wall its amazing did the work bymyself its amazing looking anywhy's good luck with this tv for the size 46 inch is a good size to me 55 i would go with but still i like it.

I wish i had my own house so i could run wires through the wall and make my setup even cleaner, but i will just have to wait for now. If you decide to go with a 3d tv anytime soon go for this one my friend, like you said the 2d picture itself is flawless, but the 3d would go well with them 3d blu rays you got!!

nice tv but the worst receivers you can buy are SONY. if you want sound go with DENON, PIONEER, YAMAHA, ONKYO, HARMAN KARDON, B&W

Sanus mounts are on possible recalls. I briefly read that somewhere.....cant remember which ones or of what year..and model

reallly nice tv i wanted to get this modle in a 55 inch BUT i am waiting because of many resons but still this is a very very very very good tv for 2d video 3d is cool on it but to me i think it could be better ,the reson for this comment tho is i too have a sanus mount too i hav the LL22 low profile mount its 1.50 mm to the wall its amazing did the work bymyself its amazing looking anywhy's good luck with this tv for the size 46 inch is a good size to me 55 i would go with but still i like it.
