Dell must know of this issue, I have 2 of these also...but have had them for over a year now without problems...

@Skyrodude could you elaborate? curious as i may be buying one of these..

The ones that were designed in august 2008 had backlight issue's. After a period of time, the screen went ''black'' and you have to turn it off and on again (the monitor).
I think the problem is fixed now however.
