I hope this song can be partially perceived as a manifestation of Maura's desire to go back to music bis. "Just let me out, I wanna run". Someone that talented should not be kept indoors!
Spheric song with perfect soaring Maura's voice. The two remixes of this song are ok, but lack the magic of the original.
Only a pity that the song cannot be downloaded from the official site (anymore?). There are 'only' 5 EP's (none containing 'I wanna run' and two other singles. :(
@dho041 You can still download it at kitheory.com. There's a link at the top, just to the left of the other EP's. It has it's own "Click To Download" button. You just have to enter your e-mail address and you get the whole single (original w/ remixes included). Cheers!
@KiTheory Thanks mate - saw the download button, but wasn't obvious to me that it already contains the package. FYI that song is at the moment daily played on the Austrian radio station FM4. And every time I feel like dancing to it in the office :)
@dho041 COOL! by chance would you know any more details on the radio play - like what time of day, what DJ, what show on the station? Are they playing the original or remixes? THNX friend...this info helps me a lot!
@KiTheory FM4 is a bilingual (English, German) moderated Austrian radio station. Stream, tracklist, etc. can be found on fm4.orf.at. And I also found a website showing that I wanna run (original) was played since Dec 11 up to today 45 times (w w w .plechinger.at/tracklist/song/details/5813/Ki-Theory-I-Wanna-Run)
wow. really well done. all of it- writing, production, video. and maura... i have always been so blown away by her voice and energy/presence... incredible!
