my buddy gave me his custom midpipe with a 30 inch resantor..all i have to do is swtich midpipes....have you had any problems with the law with your car as far as the sound
well i soon will have the same setup as you only with a bigger and better resantor...just hate lookin in the engine bay and seeing that stock header LOL

The only thing u can do is put a resonator on the mid pipe to calm the rasp.
