this place is so beautifull, i have been there.. amazing friendly people , excellent food and relaxing places, they varied from temples to mediation placesand also relaxing environment. worth the money i spent there as well as the thought of holiday is exactly this and nothing else

the fact is that one can have worlds best beach according to discovery channel ....rain forests like those in Africa or Brazil ... safari like in africa ....and history any where in world 2500 years of sites to see ....cloud mountain equal to any where ( highest peak in Indian ocean) ...and a display of a unique Buddhist culture ..and oceans and reefs second only to those in Indonesia ...elephants, birds, fish biodiversity ...and great food ...u must come here

Well carribian islands only hv beaches my friend, Sri Lanka has everything, If u wanna get some sun tan, there're 100's of bful beaches around the island in any variety you want, and if u need to cool down, you can head to the countryside where you will find a totally different surroundings, and cold whether, and if you want echo tourism we have that also, Adventure, history, cultural, basically anything you want in just couple of days, And that's why Sri Lanka is called the LAND LIKE NO OTHER
