Of course its illegal, but everyone does it anyway, and who cares!? Obviously people want to watch these videos! Which kaskerrigan, is exactly why you clicked on it. Some people cant spend 150 dollars for a ticket, so people are nice enough to put some of it up on youtube, and sometimes even full shows.

If people just put it on youtube for other people to watch for the purpose of entertainment, what is so wrong with that? I thankfully can afford to go see Broadway shows, but some people can't and like being able to see clips from shows on youtube. Sorry the economy is bad and tickets are like 39057698456792854 dollars per ticket. If you don't approve, dont watch.

@BroadwayKidNamedJosh I understand the point that you're trying to make, and it stems from ignorance of the market and lack of appreciation for the artists behind it. This production is protected under copyright laws, which means that you could be facing a large fine or jail time for posting this video online. Broadway tickets aren't cheap, but there are discount programs (and even FREE performances) available for that reason. Regardless, this is not your material to distribute.
