@broadhead6 You better laugh lol AMU is no joke they win comps every year train soldiers and everyone is top-class marksman and highly professional. Now marines wanna marksmanship unit
Great to see an institution pushing the cutting edge of training like this, especially for non-SOF personnel that traditionally mainly receive static shooting training. Three gun competition is a very effective way to safely apply high levels of stress to a marksmanship program.
@UberLifeTroll i admit it dose give some medical training but not like the marines or any other branch give it is phisical and mental and really hard to become a part of our military

1:26 Is that what they teach in the Marines? Reload while enemy faces you. Get cover for the love of God. OK to be honest this stuff should have been done a long time ago. Sad how our military learns from the private sector. I know... U.S. Army Infantry 4 years... I feel robbed of training. I learned more outside of the Army that in it. Ya I learned fundamentals and such, but none of this Magpul shit.
@XxRangerRainbowxX he wasnt in front of the enemy just by the angle u saw with camera made u think he was reloading in front of the enemy but he wasnt
@XxRangerRainbowxX alot of training ,and alot common sense.this is americas greatest past time.why not learn skill,s to adapt. be faster no reload in front enemy, unless going to kill you or friends
@Anthonyharris1325 You think being a marine takes skill like a fucking game. Im Cpl Cuevas, I am a marine. For your stupidity and negative spoken words, you dont appreciate the freedom we give you. I pray to god that you aren't in my point of view, because i will beat the shit out of you; you would in a coma in a second. I give my life to protect this country for this ungrateful thing. Oh, you are so lucky that I'm not in front of your face.
@Anthonyharris1325 Dude shut the fuck up because you know you would not even last if you try joining the marines and try saying that in a Marines face and by looking at your profile you have nothing better to do is just comment negative things on people's videos stop being an ignorant fuck and look for the future.
@Euiseok27: (2) Colonels' eagles will be worn on both sides of the khaki shirt and camouflage utility coats with the head toward the top of the collar facing to the front, with the wings perpendicular to the front edge of the collar. On the combat utility coat the eagle will be worn with the wings perpendicular to the deck. ALMAR 015/02
This is awesome. So much for internet commandos saying that competition has no place in other types of training. Clearly they see how skills/techniques can cross over.
@JaeOne3345 well static shooting has no practical application in combat past honing basic shooting fundamentals. not saying static target shooting is useless, but its limited in how much you can learn in relation to combat.
@LeaveItToBeaner Perhaps you misunderstood what I am saying. On countless forums you hear the internet commandos say that competition is useless. I am saying they are wrong. I was not referring to anything static either. Internet commandos say that practical shooting (USPSA, 3 gun, IDPA, IPSC) where you are moving on the clock is useless. Please re-read my comment. You have taken it completely out of context. lol.
@LOKIUNCIA, he lost his right foot and left eye in an IED blast. Not trying to make you feel bad, just wanted to let you know what the scoot is all about.
That's bad ass! I'm glad that's finally catching on in the corps. Once marines have hammered the foundations and built the discipline with the weapon their capable of anything with it. therefore they should try to do everything with it!
Ha lol marines will never beat the legendary Army Marksmanship Unit

And how does a Marine get on to this Combat Shooting Team?
californiamarine83 2 months ago
The AMU built a special robot named the Hornerator, which appears to be a life like clone of SGT Daniel Horner, which dominates 3 gun.
I wonder if the Marine's have a similar robot in the works...hmm
LOL.

@matthew562 It's not "police call", it's just "police". You police your brass.

@matthew562 And plus, that's only for Recon/Snipers. Not for riflemen. It'd take too long during/after fights for it to be practical.
